Amara's POV
Throughout the entire day's exams, I turned in my papers early for almost every session.
Jasper assumed I was being lazy. After sneaking a glance at my test, he discovered every question was carefully completed.
My handwriting was clean, and I worked quickly.
Jasper mulled this over. If he had that much time to tackle the problems, he couldn't even manage to copy everything down.
During the final afternoon exam, after completing all the questions, I casually reviewed my answer sheet.
Watching me, Jasper realized I was about to submit early once again. He leaned in and whispered, "Oh, Amara..."
I stopped and turned toward him.
Jasper rubbed his head awkwardly. "My father found out I have a new desk mate. He wondered if you might visit our place sometime."
At his words, I couldn't help but smile slightly. "Of course."
With that, I grabbed my paper and headed to the front.
From his expression, it seemed Jasper experienced a rush he hadn't felt in ages.
