What most people don't know is that the goddess we follow is Hera, the most popularly known wife of Zeus, but her story didn't end in a normal happily ever after, at least for most people. What really happened was that Zeus mistreated Queen Hera, so she turned on him. As a result of that, she fell, but honestly, falling from heaven couldn't have been that bad if our goddess had created a whole new race. Some people who know she fell now call her the devil or a demon. Most humans think that Lilith is the "queen" or "goddess" of the demon realm, but Lilith is the daughter of Hera and Asmodeus. Not that that has any importance right now.
I am surrounded by my friends: Juniper, the hyper one; she is the sweetest and fiercest friend you could have; Noah, the shy, sweet boy. He is always there to comfort any one of us. It really is a wonder how he's a demon at all, Chloe the kinda stuck up one but also pretty sweet sometimes, she is basically the stereotypical demon, terrorizing children, hounding annoying teens and rebelling against the teachers, Magma the quiet smart one, always knows what you need without you having to tell her, she is quite helpful, and Levi short for Leviathan the life of the party, he is quite the sight too, always making a scene and wanting attention.
I grab a forbidden book off the shelf in the library. I set it down as quietly as I could to not draw attention to us.
I whisper, "So I'll look through this one, and each of you grab a book. Remember: we are looking for a spell to bring back my memories."
Levi snorts, "How can we forget? You are obsessing over it. It's all you talk about."
I roll my eyes. "Whatever, just go look."
They all nod and look for more books. I skim through the book and find nothing.
I snarl, "Has anyone found anything?" I look around at everyone and see their half-startled faces. Maggie is the first one to speak up.
"Yes, it says here that we need Ugni to make it taste better, A Bottle Of Moonlight to help the memories come when you are sleeping, it might not help right away though so we'll have to pull you out of sight when they come on, but it says you can only get it when there is a full moon so we are gonna have to wait at least a few days, we need Volcanic Ash to protect the memories we are restoring, a Lirio root to give you heightened senses, seashells for remembering, and phoenix tears to help the process. Seems like we have most of what we need. We have Ugni in the kitchens, seashells by the beach on the west side of the school, and Volcanic Ash in the potions room."
Chloe said, "We'll have to see or ask where we can find Lirio Root and phoenix tears."
Levi said, "Whoa, I didn't know you could bottle moonlight!"
I rolled my eyes at him, but was intrigued by what my friends were saying.
Noah said, "Looks like it'll be quite the road to get your memories back, Scarlett, and you might not get all of them back. Just keep that in mind." I sighed and nodded, then the announcements came on, and the principal said
