Important: next chapter ( jay ignoring and keifer's jealousy and crazy hot scenes🌚) dropping on coming Thursday/Friday. Complete the target soon to get the chapter early....😉😊... ..
Jay's POV
Morning sunlight filtered into my room like it had a personal vendetta.
The first thing I registered when consciousness rudely returned was the taste of pure betrayal sitting on my tongue like expired milk. The second was the soft, peaceful, completely undeserved snoring of the national disaster currently starfish-ing across my bed.
I cracked one eye open. Sunlight punched me in the face. Reality followed up with a roundhouse kick to the soul.
Last night.
Percy's voice replayed in my head like a cursed Spotify playlist that refused to stop, even after you blocked the artist, deleted the app, and threw your phone into the ocean.
"Keifer's taste was actually really good... Clean. Expensive. High quality... We all did each other's together... Yuri's was large. Keifer's was small... We measured them. We pulled them. We tasted them..."
I sat up so fast my spine filed a formal complaint and requested hazard pay.
Percy was sprawled on his stomach, face smashed into my pillow, one arm dangling off the bed like a dead fish that still somehow looked expensive. The handsome face he kept bragging about looked like it had lost a fight with a blender and then bragged about the scars.
I stared at him with pure, concentrated hatred.
This man.....This absolute gremlin....This traitor of a brother.
He had casually nuked my entire romantic future over "measuring" and "tasting" and then had the audacity to fall asleep like a baby who'd just discovered the concept of naps.
SON OF A—
My lips started trembling.
I whispered into the quiet room, voice cracking like cheap plastic:
"Keifer Watson... I hope you trip on your own expensive high-quality taste and fall face-first into a puddle of Yuri's large... whatever. I hope Aries records it in 4K. I hope Percy laughs so hard he pulls a muscle. I hope your reindeer get injured so you can't give my brothers and my gay friend Yuri any kind of kids. Then Yuri, heartbroken, releases the video, it goes viral, and your next future husband sees it and goes, 'Actually... never mind. I'm good. I'll die alone.'"🤧
Percy stirred.
One eye opened. Then both. He blinked at me, still half-asleep, and immediately grinned that stupid, devastating grin that had ruined lives and probably started wars in at least three timelines.
Percy: Morning, baby sistahhhhh. Did this handsome face look even more handsome while sleeping or—
He froze.
Because I was sitting there with trembling lips, puffy eyes, and the face of a woman who had personally watched her dreams get measured, pulled, and tasted by her own brother and his friends.
Percy: ...Why do you look like someone died?
Jay: Someone did. My dignity. My trust. My future children who were supposed to have my future husband's eyes and my ability to survive emotional damage. They're gone, Percy. Gone. Buried in a tiny coffin labeled "Boys Being Boys."😭
Percy sat up slowly, scratching his head like a golden retriever who had just been told he was adopted and that the adoption papers were fake.
Percy: Okay... what the hell happened while I was sleeping? Did I sleep-talk? Did I confess to war crimes again?
I pointed a shaking finger at him.
Jay: You. You happened. You and your "Keif baby." You and your measuring. You and your tasting. You and your "we all did each other's together." Like it was a group project. Like you were comparing notes for a science fair.
Percy looked genuinely confused. The idiot.
Percy: ...Are you still mad about the KYAP stories? Why are you angry and emotionally depressed after listening to it? I don't remember saying anything wrong. I really can't understand. Like... is it something to be mad at? It's good stories. Our pleasing moments. It was just boys being—
Jay: ( clutching my heart) DON'T. Don't finish that sentence. I am this close to throwing you out the window and telling the police an ugly-faced stranger broke in, tried to steal my pillow, and failed because even crime has standards.
He raised both hands in surrender, still looking like a golden retriever who had no idea why the human was crying and holding a rolled-up newspaper.
My phone buzzed on the nightstand.
I grabbed it like it owed me money ...
💌 Keifer Watson (07:42 a.m.)
Good morning, Jay... my sunshine.😘.. my love🥰... Hope you slept well. Don't forget you still owe me those profanities you owed yesterday... I have counted them😉. All🤭. And will collect today. Don't forget to curse more, baby, so that your husband can collect more.🌝
I stared at the message.
My whole mind boiled. My brain entered full nuclear mode. Somewhere in the distance, a mushroom cloud formed in the shape of Keifer Watson's face.
Good morning?....GOOD MORNING?
The fucking audacity.
You animal. You spent your youth measuring, pulling, and tasting with my brother and you have the AUDACITY to wish me a good morning like you're a normal human being who hasn't committed crimes against my future marriage?
DAMN YOU, WATSON!!!!😡
I locked the phone without replying, shoved it under my pillow like it had personally cheated on me with a calculator, and stood up with the energy of a woman about to commit arson and then write a very detailed Yelp review about it.
Percy leaned over, still grinning.
Percy: Baby sistahhhhhhh... Who's that? Why is your face doing that weird thing again? The one where you look like you're calculating murder but also low-key crying?
Jay: NO-ONE!!!!!
Percy: But I—
To stop him, I spun around so fast my hair slapped me in the face like it was also disappointed in my life choices.
Jay: Are you going to school today? To see your precious Keif baby?
Percy stretched, yawning so wide I could see his tonsils plotting against me.
Percy: Afternoon. During lunch I want to surprise them. I can't just walk in looking this devastating without giving people time to prepare their hearts. The boys will feel jealous seeing my handsome face. I have to think about their fragile little hearts also. I'm a considerate man.😇😁
I stared at him.
This man was going to die. Either today or tomorrow... And I would be there. With popcorn.
Jay: Perfect. Then listen carefully, you walking emotional hazard. You will not tell a single living soul that we share brother and sister like bond...most importantly don't even tell anyone that we know eachother.....Not today. Not tomorrow. Not until I decide the statute of limitations on my trauma has expired. Which is never. The answer is never.
Percy frowned, looking genuinely offended.
Percy: Why?
Jay: Because I said so.
Percy: That's not a reason.
Jay: No means no, Percy. No. Means. No. If you open your mouth about our relation then I will tell everyone you still sleep with a night light shaped like a dinosaur while clutching your teddy bear like it's your girlfriend!!
Percy's eyes widened in pure betrayal.
Percy: You swore you would take that to the grave—
Jay: The grave is closed for renovations. Permanently. Also it's under new management and the new management hates you.
Percy stared at me like I'd grown two heads and both of them were disappointed in him.
Percy: Baby sistahhhh... what exactly did I do last night? You're acting like I personally sold your organs on the black market and then used the money to buy matching "We Measured It" t-shirts.
Jay: Breakfast. Now. Before I start reshaping your handsome face into something that better matches your personality. Something tragic. Something that makes people say "at least he has a nice personality" and then immediately regret it.
Percy opened his mouth.
Closed it.
Opened it again.
Then, very wisely, he stood up, raised both hands in surrender, and muttered:
Percy: ...Fine. But for the record, I still don't understand what I did wrong. And my teady bear stays between us or I start telling people about the time you—
Jay: BREAKFAST.NOW.
He fled toward the kitchen like a man who had suddenly remembered he valued his teeth.
I stood there for a second longer, staring at the pillow where my phone was still buried like a war crime.
Then I whispered one last curse into the morning air:
"Keifer Watson... I hope your expensive taste gives you food poisoning. From life."
And then I went to eat breakfast.....Violently.
In dining room
Downstairs, the dining table looked peaceful.
The atmosphere did not.
Papa was reading the newspaper like a man who still believed mornings could be normal. Tita Reycee was pouring coffee with the calm of someone who had not yet been exposed to Gen Z emotional warfare. The smell of garlic rice, scrambled eggs, and fried Spam normally made me feel safe. Today it smelled like heartbreak with extra MSG and a side of betrayal.🤧
I sat down and began eating like the food had personally measured me without consent.
Papa looked up over his newspaper.
Papa: Jay, anak. You're chewing like those eggs just confessed to murdering your goldfish. What's wrong?
Tita Reycee leaned in, eyes full of genuine concern.
Tita Reycee: Your eyes are swollen. Did you cry all night? Did someone at school say something again?
I shoved a piece of Spam into my mouth and chewed with the rage of a thousand broken promises and one very specific group tasting session.
Jay: Nothing happened. Everything is perfect. Super perfect. The most perfect any girl has ever been while her entire romantic future is out there having high-quality experiences without her.
Papa narrowed his eyes the way fathers do when they smell emotional damage but can't legally arrest it yet.
Papa: You've been quiet since last night. And now you're staring at your rice like it broke up with you via text message and left you on read.
I almost choked.
Because the rice was white.
Clean.....Expensive-looking....High quality.
And the color white made my brain short-circuit so hard that I briefly left my body. Suddenly all I could think about was something else that was supposedly white🌝... a little musky, sweet..🌚. and someone who had apparently already swallowed things that were supposed to be the exclusive property of my future marriage—and that were supposed to go inside me or down my throat!!💔🤧
Just like someone's taste.
I stabbed an egg with the kind of force usually reserved for people who say "we all did each other's together."
Jay: I'm fine, Papa. Really. Just... reflecting on the fragility of trust. And how some people measure things that should remain sacred. And pull things that should not be pulled...And taste things that—
I clamped my mouth shut so hard my teeth filed a formal noise complaint with the local authorities.
Both adults were staring at me like I had started speaking in tongues and also possibly summoned a demon.
Tita Reycee: ...Taste things?
Papa: What in the name of all that is holy are you talking about?
I forced a smile so fake it could have won Best Supporting Lie at the Emotional Damage Awards.
Jay: Nothing. Just deep teenage philosophy. Very advanced. Extremely Gen Z. You wouldn't get it. It's about... rice. And how some rice is basic and some rice is expensive and high-quality and should not be shared in group settings like it's a potluck. Some rice is meant for one person only. Not for measuring. Not for pulling. Not for tasting. Just pure, exclusive, high-quality rice.
Percy, the traitor, was happily demolishing his breakfast like he hadn't single-handedly turned my heart into modern art.
Percy: (casually, mouth full) She's been weird since last night. I told her some innocent old stories about KYAP and she started acting like I personally auctioned off her future children on eBay.☹️
I kicked him under the table with the strength of a girl who had nothing left to lose and also possibly a future career in professional soccer.
He yelped, but kept eating. The emotional terrorist. The human equivalent of a group chat that never stays on topic.
Papa folded his newspaper and sighed the long-suffering sigh of a man raising two chaotic children in the age of unexplained trauma.
Papa: These days... kids. It's really hard to understand the language they speak. Whatever it is, leave it at home. You have school. And Percy — try not to cause a national emergency when you show up later.
Percy grinned, cheeks full like a chipmunk who paid zero taxes on his crimes and also had a favorite person named Keif baby.
Percy: No promises. My Keif baby, aries baby Yuri baby..is going to short-circuit the moment they sees this handsome face.
I stabbed another piece of Spam like it had personally called Keifer "baby" in a soft voice and then measured it for science.
This absolute menace couldn't even give me peace during breakfast.
I stared down at my plate, eyes stinging again...Even my garlic rice was judging me....Even the Spam looked disappointed.
I don't feel like going to school anymore!!!!
After breakfast I escaped to the living room like a war refugee fleeing emotional artillery. I sat on the edge of the sofa and started putting on my shoes with the slow, tragic energy of a woman whose future was no more to be seen...
The TV was on low volume. Morning news.
The anchor's voice floated over, calm and professional, like she wasn't about to personally ruin my life for the second time in twelve hours:
"...and in entertainment news, another high-profile friendship has come under speculation after old photos resurfaced showing the group of young men sharing everything — clothes, living spaces, and what sources describe as an unusually close bond. Rumours have been flying crazily. Fans are divided on whether it's pure brotherhood or something more..."
I froze mid-shoelace.
The screen showed blurry photos of four boys laughing, arms around each other, one of them casually wearing another's shirt like it was the most natural thing in the world.
My soul, which had just tentatively peeked back into the country after breakfast, took one look at the screen, packed its bags again, and booked a one-way ticket to Mars. First class. No return flight.
I stared at the television in pure betrayal.
Jay (whispering to the TV like it had personally cheated on me):You have got to be kidding me.😭😭
SERIOUSLY???
Is this kind of relationship trending now???...Even the news knows....Even the NEWS is confirming the group activities.
The universe is not even trying to be subtle anymore. It's just openly mocking me at this point. Next they'll release a documentary called Measuring, Pulling & Tasting: The Untold Story.
Percy walked past behind me, still chewing on a piece of bread like a man who had committed zero crimes against humanity.
Percy: You're talking to the television again. Should I be worried, or is this just your new personality now?
Jay: Shut up. Go get ready. And remember — no one knows we know each other. Especially not the part that we live together.... As far as the world is concerned, you are a random devastatingly ugly stranger who doesn't know anyone name Jay or jayden....
Percy stopped chewing.
Percy: But why—
Jay: No means no.
Percy: Jay—
Jay: Repeat after me.
Percy: I'm not—
Jay: No. Means. No.
I turned fully toward him, eyes blazing with the power of a thousand unanswered good-morning texts.
Jay: Say it.
Percy: This is insane—
Jay: NO MEANS NO. NO MEANS NO. NO MEANS NO.😤
He threw both hands up in the air like he was surrendering to the police.
Percy: Fine! No means no! Happy?! You're actually unhinged this morning!
He stomped away, muttering under his breath about crazy sisters, emotional damage, and how New York suddenly looked very peaceful in comparison.
I watched him go, still holding one shoe, heart full of righteous fury.
Yeah....Yeah, keep muttering, you traitor.
Says the one who casually took my future husband, measured him, pulled him, tasted him, and then had the audacity to call him "Keif baby" in front of me like it was a cute nickname and not a war crime.
I wiped imaginary tears from my eyes with the back of my hand, ....
Just think how heartbroken Tita Reycee and Papa would be if they ever found out their precious adopted son is... like that. The family dinners. The holidays. The future Christmas cards with Keifer and Percy matching in couple outfits. I couldn't even bear the thought. The emotional destruction would be generational.
I stared at my half-tied shoe and whispered the only truth left in my shattered world:
"Keifer Watson...
It's all your fault.
You absolute, high-quality, expensive-tasting, group-activity-having ASSHOLE."
Then I finished tying my shoes with the grim determination of a woman who was about to walk into school, face the boy of her dreams, and pretend she didn't know what his "taste" rated on the national scale.
The day had officially declared war on me.
And I was ready to lose spectacularly.
Keifer's POV
I didn't sleep well last night.
Too many thoughts kept circling in my head, refusing to settle. No matter how many times I turned over or tried to empty my mind, I couldn't get past the conversation I overheard from Mom and Dad's room. The raised voices. The tension. The way everything went quiet afterward.
I hated not knowing.
Eventually I gave up on sleep, reached for my phone, and opened Jay's chat. My baby. My safest place. The one person who could usually pull me out of my own head without even trying.
I typed a teasing good-morning message the way I always did and hit send.
She saw it.....But no reply came....
That was strange.
Usually she would scoff at me within minutes — send some violent threat to end me, or a sarcastic reply that somehow still made me smile. Today there was only silence.
I frowned at the screen for a few more seconds, then forced myself out of bed.
After washing up and putting on my uniform, I headed downstairs while still scrolling through my phone, half-expecting a delayed message from her. Instead, a warm smell greeted me the moment I reached the bottom of the stairs.
Pancakes. Muffins.
My favorites.
I walked faster.
Dad was at the stove cooking, while Mom moved around the table setting things down. Keiran and Keigan were already seated, both of them looking up when I entered.
Mom smiled the second she saw me.
Mom: Keifer baby, you're down. Good morning. Look — your dad made pancakes. Your favorite. Come eat before they get cold. They won't taste as good.
I sat down, the tension in my shoulders easing a little.
Keifer: Good morning, Mom. Dad. ...It smells really good.
Dad glanced over his shoulder with that familiar warm smile — the cold edge from last night completely gone.
Dad: Of course it does. I make the best pancakes.
Mom raised an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed.
Mom: Oh really? And who taught you how to make them in the first place?
The whole table laughed. Even I felt myself smiling properly for the first time that morning. The atmosphere was light, easy... normal. Whatever I had overheard last night must have just been a regular couple's argument. Nothing more.
I let out a quiet breath of relief and started eating.
Everything at home was fine.
So then... what was going on with Jay?
Why wasn't she replying?
The question stayed with me all the way through breakfast and followed me out the door as I left for school.
Jay's POV
I was halfway to the school, thinking about my heartbroken future, when CC called me. I immediately picked it up.
CC: Hello, Luna. Good morning.
Jay: Good morning, CC.
CC: I've sent the location. Check it quickly. I'll destroy this SIM card after this call. I'll give you my new number—be cautious. My men will be there to pick you up. Remember to switch off your phone. I'll give you my new number after you come here.
Jay: Okay... I will.
CC: Bye. See you in the afternoon.
Jay: Bye, CC.
I exhaled. I absolutely can't let anyone know that I will be skipping classes in the afternoon.. I have to be cautious.
********************************************************
Hello sweetheart's,
I know you guys have been waiting for Keifer's jealousy chapter... so I wrote a 12,000-word chapter. Yeah, that big, full of all the flirting and hot scenes. But the chapter didn't get saved, and believe me, my heart broke when I found out yesterday morning that the chapter I had worked on throughout the week was gone. I write every chapter myself, so there's no way I can get it back. I'm really so heartbroken that I can't even explain it in words... a 12,000-word chapter. It was the first time I had written something that long, and it's gone. And you know how it is—when you write something once, it's almost impossible to write the exact same things again the next time. I got so sad and pissed that I thought I wouldn't post anything at all. But seeing that you guys have been waiting so long, I wrote again. Of course, I couldn't write another 12,000 words, since it's not possible to write that long a chapter in one night.
I know this chapter doesn't contain any hot or spicy flirting scenes—it's just a normal chapter after so long. I really hope you'll understand and give me some time. I will post a new chapter between Thursday and Friday!
And it will contain all the scenes I promised and that you guys were expecting!
So I was expecting at least 80 comments....
Till then, bye-bye and keep smiling!😘♥️
