Hello, I am 프루버(Prover), the original author of this fanfiction.
The original title of my work is not 'Tower Of God: Life As Hoaquin', but 'FUG의 신보다는 일상이 좋습니다[I Prefer Daily Life to Being a God of FUG]'.
I have been writing this fanfic as a hobby out of my pure affection for Tower of God. I recently discovered through a reader's report that my novel was being translated and uploaded here without my knowledge. While I am grateful that my work has received love in Korea, seeing it uploaded on an overseas site without my permission is deeply concerning.
Most importantly, I never authorized any English translation or posting of my fanfic. The uploader, Leonzky, never contacted me to request permission. In short, this is an unauthorized upload that disregards me as the author and effectively impersonates the creator of this work.
Although this is a non-profit derivative work based on the world and characters created by SIU, the specific sentences, story structure, and original settings are strictly the unique creative property of me, Prover.
Furthermore, the quality of this translation suggests it is merely a low-effort machine translation (MTL). For instance, terms like '누나' are left as mere phonetic sounds('Noona') instead of being properly translated into their meaning, 'older sister.'
I attempted to address this issue directly with Leonzky, but instead of receiving a response, I was blocked. He also deleted the comments and reviews I posted to inform readers of the truth.
Worse yet, He even monetized this theft by encouraging readers to join his paid Patreon membership, offering them early access to 'advance chapters' of my work before they were uploaded to Webnovel.
Tragically, there are users who have actually subscribed to his paid Patreon. It is a deeply regrettable situation.
I reported this issue to Webnovel immediately, and thanks to their swift response, Leonzky's stolen work (Tower Of God: Life As Hoaquin) was deleted.
However, he shamelessly hid the truth and re-uploaded the unauthorized translation under the title 'TOG: Life As Hoaquin'. Worse yet, he deceived readers by lying that the deletion was due to unfair reasons like 'violence and underage/explicit sexual content,' completely omitting the fact that it was removed for copyright theft.
In every chapter, he shamelessly posts in the Creators' Thoughts: "Creation is hard, Cheer me up! Vote for me! Like it? Add to library!"
It is so absurd that I can only laugh:) 'Creation is hard'? I seriously wonder if he has ever truly created anything in his life.
Seeing such pathetic and shameless behavior, it is clear that he lacks even the most basic authorial integrity and moral ethics.
Furthermore, his actions cast serious doubt on the authenticity of the other four works he has uploaded. It is highly suspicious whether he actually wrote them, or if he simply stole them from other Korean or international fanfics to impersonate an author, just as he did with my work.
My original work is currently being serialized on the Korean webnovel platforms, Joara and Novelpia.
The fact that over 280 chapters have already been uploaded there serves as undeniable proof of Leonzky's theft and his deception of the readers.
