{The birthmark that Marco had on his left hand is the mark of the Nierman clan. This mark has two different meaning with two different visuals. The visuals are mainly a shining sun and a dying moon.
The sun refers to the power of purity, while the moon refers to the power of sacrifice. And the those two different marks has two different conditions. The sun generally appears in a Nierman's right hand. And the moon appears in the Nierman's left hand.
But if the marks change their side of appearing, then it is considered as abnormal and gifted.
The actual thing is that they are either too much blessed than average Nierman. Or they are cursed. This mark appears in both Niermans with pure blood or mixed blood.
Niermans are considered to be the naturally blessed exorcists most suitable for becoming Engimas' hosts.}

Mr. Horitoshi brought Marco to his house. Which was too much bright and shiny, as well as eye catching for Marco. Because in Hauro, he had not seen this much brightness all at once. Saying, it was kind of a new side of life for him.

He seemed curious about it. But there was no sign oof curiosity in Mr. Horitoshi's face. He was completely straight faced, with no touch of emotions.

"Then what is it that happened actually?"
Horitoshi passed back his friend. To sit on. And his friend turned back his focus to match it.
Horitoshi took a cigarette from his coat's right pocket, and lighted it up. Taking a deep inside, he got it out. Seeing through the flames in front of his face, he started.
"I had got a boy. Around eight years in age, I think."
His friend got wondered by hearing this kind of stuff. Because it is totally a miracle to see Mr. Horitoshi adopting a child. And so did his friend know.
"You adopted an orphan child? When did your heart get so soft?"
That was clearly a fun of him.
"I don't know, but I just felt to do it."
He made a lie to hide his real reason. And his friend also did understand it. But didn't oppose or complain.
"What will you do to him at this point."
Mr. Horitoshi got in deep thought for a moment, cut off from the real world. But his process of taking the cigarette still went on. Like the cigarette is a part and parcel of his life.
