[09 November, 1392]
It became already fully night. And the brightness of the city Balkan had fully extincted due to no population there anymore. And the city felt like quite of a graveyard. Though it was a new moon, the city was a little visible as it was in a open place. No tall buildings, no human dwell. It was ultimately destined to become such a leftover.
"This is not good to me."
Izochi told himself.
For the exorcism or purification they are to do in Balkan, was actually not a grouped up raid. It was mainly like a single man battlefield, but not properly. There were mainly three exorcists all around that large city, Izochi, Marco and Bruno.
The reason of only those three people was very simple. It would have caused a great problem because more exorcists would have caused more lose, if unexperienced in direct battle.
"What do you intend to do now?"
Marco asked Izochi.
They two were made to form a team, not including Bruno. Because he was enough to solo run the battle. He had such experience and advantage in battle.
"Are you getting scared?"
Marco did continue the questioning phase. They were walking through the road of the city. But unlike other days, the city seemed quite dead. With a sense of something mysterious. It was dark all around.
The city was quite dead, and the atmosphere got quite messed up. With the uneasy smell all around their way, they both were a lot uncomfortable to breath.
"The targets you will face now are mostly of Moon chronicle."
"How did you know it? You haven't faced any since I came."
"Yes, but we do have a lot of information and records recent behaviors of this city."
All Izochi was trying to do was to look around. Though there was a lot of them around, judged by Izochi and Marco's behavior, they were not any threat. But just some hanging pawns unable to make their steps.
"But you still have to remember, there can be some of Darkness. And also there are a lot of Spirits all around. So, you need not to be relieved."
Marco started to make Izochi understand every single thing of the mission. Even though Izochi had no interest in showing for these words, he continued by himself.
"We will separate from here."
It was the end of the single road. And divided into two parts, one which went to the west and one which went to the north. The both sides were faded down in darken, but separating in a small city was worthless?
[Though Balkan had only about ten thousands dwellers, the city was quite bigger than the most of Forth Land. Even though it was less named, it was about two times larger than Sino. In saying, it was the third largest city of Forth Land, after District A and Alola.]
Izochi was made to choose the west side, despite his rejection.
"There is nothing here."
Izochi said to himself as he was walking towards the unseen darkness, faded in air. It was quite silent all around, just as was thought to be. The darkness was so just so heavy to make anyone lose their vision of eyes. But for some reason, this kind of things was not happening to Izochi. He was walking like despite the blindness of atmosphere, he was seeing everything crystal clear.
"I hope I should have have gone there with him."
He regretted his dissections for the second time. That he doesn't do most often. Izochi had has his sword. He was carrying it in his right shoulder. It was usually his right shoulder he used to use for carrying things, and this time not its exception.
All on the sudden, Izochi felt a presence behind him. A presence that was a lot strong and stronger. But he didn't feel anything. Unchanged emotions, he exhaled a large breath. And turned back. He could see nothing at first.
But as the vision of him started to get cleared little by little, he was slowly understanding the structure of it in front of him. It was quite felt like an undead, to Izochi.
"No. It is not an undead."
He was tightly holding his sword in the right hand. While putting his thumb over the guard,
"Is it too okay if I take my step first?"
He was doubting him on own. Because one wrong step could even mean his life.
Luckily for him, it was an engima. The engima was quite large in size compared to generally the engimas seen. It was way fat compared to its threat, then also was muscular(only hands). The unique thing about it was that it had a lot of cutting marks on its entire body. It was also covered up with a lot of hard particles of some unknown things.
The engima's body color couldn't be judged in the middle of that dark. But guessing to Izochi,
"It is green color type, or maybe something like that."
The engima's eyes were locked on Izochi. A hunter's eyes, full of seeking revenge and nothing else. Its breathing sound could be heard clearly. Izochi right hand's thumb was still still on his guard.
"It is up to class 7, I guess."
The engima was the one to make the first attempt. With a roar enough to damage someone's listening, it ran forward. Each of its steps felt like an earthquake. Enough to hinder Izochi's balance.
"What is it?"
Despite its large size, the engima was a lot fast than Izochi thought to be. Izochi's body because of the quakes got a little down and backward. So, he couldn't stand up in balance.
"I have to back."
He did. He put his right leg one step back, then the left one. Then again the right one, he pushed himself on left side while pressuring the leg. The engima was fast, but it didn't have that much balance over its speed. So, Izochi managed to barely escape the rush. The engima stopped a lot front than Izochi's place. And looked backward toward his target.
His eyes were still full on red, with the burn of revenge.
"It has not proper balance."
Izochi started to think of it carefully. But he still didn't grab out his sword.
"I then got an advantage."
