After making sure the tiger was truly dead, Law turned around and walked toward Wolf.
"Wolf-san… are you alright?" Law asked calmly.
Wolf nodded weakly and tried to stand up, but his legs gave out. Law immediately supported him.
When Wolf finally managed to stay on his feet, he looked at Law carefully—
but then he heard footsteps behind them.
Turning around, he saw Shachi and Penguin approaching.
Law noticed them as well.
The moment they reached Wolf, both boys dropped to their knees, tears streaming down their faces.
"We're sorry, Wolf-san!"
"It's our fault—you almost died because of us!"
"And Law… we're sorry for not listening to you!"
They kept apologizing over and over.
Wolf and Law said nothing at first. They simply looked at them in silence.
Then Wolf finally spoke.
"That's enough. Let's go home," he said firmly.
"We'll talk about your punishment there. It's getting dark, and I don't think you want to become dinner for the beasts in this forest."
Shachi and Penguin turned pale and nodded quickly.
Then they heard Law's cold voice behind them.
"Help Wolf-san," Law said.
"I'll take care of the tiger."
The tone of his voice sent a chill down their spines. Without another word, they hurried to support Wolf.
Wolf glanced at Law and said quietly,
"Do you really think you can carry that thing?"
Law didn't answer.
He simply raised his hand.
"ROOM."
A blue sphere expanded around him, and the massive body of the tiger slowly lifted into the air.
Shachi and Penguin stared in complete shock.
It was the first time they had ever seen such a power.
Wolf said nothing. He only watched Law silently.
When they returned home, Bepo came running toward them, having waited anxiously the entire time.
He was about to hug them—
but the moment he saw the enormous tiger, his eyes widened.
"…Eeep!"
Bepo fainted on the spot.
Inside the house, Law immediately went to prepare medicine to treat Wolf's injured arm.
While Law was busy, Wolf turned to Shachi and Penguin.
"Do you know what your mistake was?" he asked.
They nodded silently.
"Tomorrow, you're being punished," Wolf continued.
"You'll be doing all the work around the house. Every last bit of it."
"Yes, sir," they answered and quietly left for their room to await the next day.
After they were gone, Wolf heard Law's voice again.
"ROOM."
He turned and saw Law using the power of the Ope Ope no Mi to treat his wound with incredible precision.
As Law focused on the treatment, Wolf finally spoke.
"Law… it seems you've found a true treasure," he said seriously.
"The Ope Ope no Mi… is one of the most dangerous and most desired Devil Fruits in the world of medicine."
Law didn't respond.
He simply continued his work in silence.
