Soft blue light split the sky of the Nyrion Multiverse. From that beam, a two-horned woman fell slowly Yai Homur, now standing before the First Gate, a giant black portal with swirling symbols that shone like the eyes of a god.
The air there felt heavy. Strange entities demons of various shapes and colors walked through the gate, staring in wonder.
"A new demon, eh?"
"But… her aura's strange. Too pure for a demon."
Yai looked around, her confusion masked by caution. Then, from the gate's darkness, emerged a tall woman in silver armor her long hair a bluish-black, her eyes sharp as daggers.
"Welcome to the Nyrion Multiverse," she said coldly.
"I am Velkira, Guardian of the First Gate. What is your name, wanderer?"
Yai swallowed, bowing politely.
"…Yai. Yai Homur."
Velkira stared at her for a long moment, as if analyzing every movement.
"Interesting. There's no record of your presence. How did you appear here so suddenly?"
Yai didn't know how to answer. The aura around Velkira was so terrifying as if one small move could shatter the universe.
After a few silent seconds, Velkira sighed softly.
"Very well, follow me. We'll take a short walk. I want to know where you came from."
The Sky Corridors of Nyrion
The two walked along a transparent stone corridor hanging among the stars. Below, millions of worlds spun slowly like candlelight.
"This world… is too vast," Yai murmured in awe.
"Of course," Velkira replied flatly. "Each Gate is guarded by entities at the multiverse level. And I am one of them."
Their steps halted as two other demons appeared to be fighting in a wide arena: Nymeroth and Swurta.
Their battle created energy storms the ground trembled, the air shimmering with heat. But it was clear Nymeroth was holding back; his seal was still active.
Velkira folded her arms.
"Those are them. Two young guardians from the Second Gate."
Yai was stunned. Her eyes widened.
"S-Swurta…?!"
The figure turned a small smile appearing on his face.
"Yai…? You're alive?"
Without thinking, Yai ran and hugged him, tears welling in her eyes.
Swurta paused for a moment, then patted her shoulder.
"Welcome to our world, Yai."
Velkira and Nymeroth simply exchanged glances, then spoke telepathically in their own somewhat comical style:
Velkira: "You see that? Mushy emotions again."
Nymeroth: "Heh, just let it be. At least the atmosphere won't be so tense all the time."
Velkira: "…Our Lord hasn't returned yet, has he?"
Nymeroth: "Not yet. Only Veldora has left the Multiverse."
Velkira: "Hmph, that fool. I hope he doesn't cause any more trouble."
Nymeroth: "You know, if he gets serious, his power can exceed Velzhakar."
A Call From Alro
Velkira suddenly contacted Alro Ashvalen, leader of HYDA (Hide Yoshi Demon Abyss) the eight main protectors of the Nyrion Multiverse.
Alro, a dark-haired figure sleeping lazily on a floating chair, immediately woke up half-panicked when the mental link opened.
"Velkira!? W-what's wrong all of a sudden?!"
"You're constantly guarding the Edge of the Multiverse, right? Our Lord… did he leave this place?"
"No… only Veldora have I seen. Our Lord hasn't crossed the boundary today."
"…Very well. Make sure the situation remains stable."
Then the narration explains:
HYDA consists of eight entities:
Alro Ashvalen, Ruthas Rirez, Walthar Zagi, Thanatos Zigami, Zai Furen, Ragon Fugi, Serion Gusero, and Numeru Sazime.
They are capable of destroying universes, causing supernovas, even folding reality with a single thought.
The oldest of them Alro the first to be born on Planet Herojin.
Conversation After the Fight
After Swurta and Nymeroth finished fighting, the four sat together at the edge of the starry arena.
They spoke seriously about how vast this world was.
"We haven't even explored half of the Nyrion Multiverse," Nymeroth said.
"There are still many entities out there… perhaps stronger than us."
"You're right," Velkira replied, staring at the purple sky. "And if Veldora really did leave the Multiverse, I hope he's still alright…"
Nymeroth smiled faintly.
"You're worried about him?"
"Not really. I'm just too lazy to clean up the mess if he causes trouble again."
They laughed softly, though their aura of power made the stars above seem to tremble.
Reiji's Return
Meanwhile, in the collapsing world of Demon King Vaw's kingdom
Reiji alias Zarabis (in human mode) stood amid the destruction, carrying Mijarun and Ashia in his arms.
Buildings crumbled. The ground shook. The sky split.
"Brother! Quickly, use a little of your power!"
"…" Reiji pretended not to hear.
He leaped from a height of 300 meters, then at the last second, threw Mijarun and Ashia into the sky with immense force.
Both vanished as if teleported.
Reiji fell. The ground cracked.
Reality trembled and the dimension collapsed just from a power output of 00000.000002% from him.
"What… even this much destroys space?" he murmured in panic.
With a swift motion, he rewove space and time, repairing everything as if the destruction never happened.
When he looked down, a black portal opened revealing a view of Tokyo city.
"…Earth, huh?"
"... Every time I Destroy Reality and Dimensions, I Immediately Enter These Many Portals..... What is This Actually?....."
Reiji paused, then stepped through.
He used Law: Non-Building, repairing the stability of Earth's reality.
The Tokyo air that day was warm. The sky clear. The world looked peaceful as if nothing had ever happened.
Reiji smiled faintly.
"Heh… at least one world is peaceful again."
He looked toward the bright sun, walking slowly through the bustling city.
In his heart, he knew Mijarun and Ashia were safe.
And the Nyrion Multiverse… still awaited his return.
