The next day, we see Ren, who was busy with his members in concert dance practice. All the members started eating. Ren said, "Look, tomorrow is the concert, and we can't afford any more rumors. Guys, it's time to clear things with the fans so at least there won't be any pressure."
Someone said, "Ren, eat too."
Ren replied, "Focus on practice, no talk."
But Ren didn't say these words from his heart. Deep inside, Ren himself was worried about the rumors and fan anger.
Scene shift:
Mia: OMG, I am so happy!
Mia was happy because she had received ROX's concert tickets as a VIP guest. While talking to her cat, Mia happily said, "I am so happy. I have been waiting for this concert for so long. Tomorrow I will see Ren live. Woohoo! 🎉"
Suddenly, the doorbell rang. Mia opened the door and saw her junior, Lili.
Mia: "What happened? Why did you come so suddenly at this time of night? Is there some problem?"
Lili suddenly started crying.
Mia: "What happened, Lili? Tell me."
While crying, Lili said, "My boyfriend cheated on me," and she started crying again.
Mia hugged her and said, "Okay, don't cry. I'm here."
Mia was a very kind-hearted girl. Maybe she didn't know how to understand clever tricks. She invited Lili inside and gave her water.
Lili (in her mind):
"Mia, I hate you. I know how excited you are about ROX's concert, but I won't let that happen." 🤨
Lili had brought sleeping medicine with her. She said to Mia, "Ma'am, please teach me how to make some dish."
Mia was like, "At this time?"
But Lili insisted, and finally Mia agreed. Mia cooked food for her, and Lili secretly mixed the medicine into Mia's food.
After some time, Mia started feeling very sleepy and became unaware of the world. Lili started checking the whole house to find where the tickets were. She found the tickets in Mia's bag. She gave a devil smile 😈, tore the tickets into two pieces, and quietly left.
Scene shift:
The next morning was about to begin. All the members were under a little pressure. Ren was feeling something strange. He didn't talk much to anyone that day. Ren wasn't feeling well, but seeing all the members practicing so hard, he didn't have the courage to tell anyone.
Sora came and said, "Ren, are you okay?"
Ren pretended that he was fine, but he wasn't. He was very serious about the concert. Thousands of fans were waiting for ROX today.
Scene shift:
Mia suddenly woke up and, in shock, looked at the time. Sadly, the concert time had already passed. She suddenly started crying.
"Why? Why? Why just me?"
Mia's head felt very heavy. She kept crying. After some time, she calmed down by herself. When she calmed down, she thought carefully about what had happened, and then she remembered last night's events.
She called Lili, but the number was switched off. Looking at the house, Mia felt even more regret. The more she loved cleanliness, the more mess Lili had created while searching for the tickets.
Mia thought, "What's done is done." She said, "It's better to stay busy, otherwise I will die from regret."
Mia started doing house chores. She fed her cat, cooked food, and after finishing everything, she felt a little better.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang again and again. Mia went to the door. There was a person wearing a mask and a black hoodie.
He said, "Please, someone is following me. Please let me stay in your house for some time."
It was hard for Mia to believe, but when the guy removed his mask, Mia was shocked. It was none other than Ren.
Ren was covered in sweat; God knows how long he had been running. Mia immediately brought him inside. As Ren entered the house, he almost fell. With great difficulty, Mia managed to bring him inside, and he fainted.
Mia placed her hand on his forehead and was shocked. He had a very high fever. She didn't know fate would give her a chance to meet Ren like this.
Mia immediately wiped the sweat from his forehead and placed cold-water strips. After some time, his fever reduced a little.
Mia couldn't give him medicine without feeding him something. So she made soup for him and gently fed it to him with soft hands. Ren was not fully conscious yet.
Now, a very big task for Mia was to give Ren the medicine. He drank the soup with great difficulty, but how would she give him the medicine?
Mia thought a lot. Whenever she tried to give Ren the medicine, he would throw it out. Then Mia said, "Sorry, Ren."
She placed the medicine at the center of her lips and transferred it to Ren's mouth. But Ren suddenly grabbed her.
"What are you doing? Who are you?"
Mia was shocked and speechless. She was about to say something when Ren fainted again.
With great difficulty, Mia put Ren on the bed and then went to sleep in the other bedroom.
Chapter – The Morning After
Mia opened her eyes the next morning.
Zen was still asleep beside her.
Suddenly, last night's reality hit her — Zen's concert.
If he was here… then what happened to the concert?
"Oh no," Mia whispered, panic rising in her chest.
"I completely forgot to contact his team."
She sat up, confused and stressed, not knowing what to do next. Then it struck her.
His phone.
Mia hurried into the bedroom where Zen was still sleeping. She carefully began looking around for his phone, trying not to wake him. But it was nowhere to be found.
As she searched, she unknowingly moved closer… and closer… until her face was just inches away from his.
At that exact moment, Zen's eyes opened.
Both of them froze.
Zen stared at her in shock, his eyes wide open. Mia, equally confused, hadn't expected him to wake up like that.
Suddenly, Zen pushed her away and sat up.
"What are you doing?" he snapped.
Mia tried to speak, but the words wouldn't come out. The situation had left her completely flustered.
As Zen stood up, fragments of the previous night rushed back to him. He remembered being drugged — but not by whom. His head throbbed as he tried to recall what had happened.
Then another memory struck him.
"The concert…" he muttered.
He looked at Mia sharply.
"Who are you?" he demanded. "And why am I here?"
Before Mia could explain, Zen's frustration exploded.
"You're involved, aren't you?" he accused.
"You're the one who helped them drug me."
He wasn't thinking clearly — only reacting.
Fueled by anger and stress, he continued,
"People like you don't understand the meaning of hard work or effort. Do you even realize how long my team and I prepared for that concert?"
Tears welled up in Mia's eyes.
"So people like me really don't understand hard work?" she said, her voice shaking.
"And people like me don't deserve love either… right?"
She broke down completely.
"People like me don't even deserve to live… isn't that what you think?"
With great effort, she controlled her tears and looked at him firmly.
"I didn't come close to you for any personal reason, Mr. Zen," she said.
"I was only looking for your phone to contact your team."
"If you don't believe me, check the CCTV," she added.
"And if I had any wrong intentions, you wouldn't be standing safely in my house right now."
Her eyes filled again as she turned away.
"Contact your members and leave. Please… just go."
Zen stood there, frozen, unable to say a single word.
He wanted to call his team — but he didn't have his phone.
Mia left the room in tears.
Guilt crashed over Zen like a wave.
I shouldn't have spoken to her like that, he thought.
I dumped all my stress on someone who took care of me the entire night.
He suddenly remembered waking up in panic during the night — and Mia being there beside him. But he couldn't remember when she had arrived.
He felt sick with regret.
Just as he stepped out to talk to her, Mia returned.
She handed him a slip of paper.
"This is my personal number," she said calmly.
"Contact your members and leave. And don't worry — I'm not a toxic girl who will chase you or leak this anywhere."
With that, she walked away.
Zen immediately called Sora.
"Zen, where are you?" Sora's anxious voice came through.
"All of us are on the line!"
"I'm fine," Zen replied.
"Don't worry. I'll explain everything later. I'm sending my location — come here."
Within some time, all the members arrived at Mia's house.
When Mia opened the door, relief washed over their faces upon seeing Zen safe.
She quietly left them alone.
Zen explained everything — the rumors, the drugging, and the harsh words he had spoken in stress.
Yuma frowned.
"Wait… Zen, you don't know Mia?"
Zen looked confused.
"Know her how?"
Yuma sighed.
"Mia isn't just anyone. She's an internationally famous chef. Even I've heard about her."
They searched online to confirm it.
And there it was.
Mia — one of the world's top star chefs.
Zen felt his breath catch.
He stood there in shock, realizing the weight of the words he had said…
to someone the entire world respected.
