Five minutes of discussion later All Might broke down the lessons from Akira's overwhelming victory.

Finally, All Might clapped his hands together, drawing everyone's attention back to the present.

"ALRIGHT! Time to see our next match!"

He reached into the lottery box again.

"The heroes for this round will be..." He held up the first ball. "TEAM C!"

Momo Yaoyorozu and Mashirao Ojiro stepped forward.

"And the villains will be..." All Might revealed the second ball. "TEAM F!"

Kyoka Jiro and Koji Koda moved to the front.

Before heading to their preparation areas, Momo walked over to Akira. She stopped right in front of him.

Then, with a smile, she leaned in and whispered, "Watch me finish this faster than you did."

Without waiting for a response, she smoothly handed the surprised cat to him, then turned and walked away.

Akira's brain completely short-circuited.

He stood there frozen, with his mouth open. His mind had gone completely blank, unable to process what had just happened or formulate any kind of response.

Nia, now nestled in his arms instead of Momo's, looked up at him with concerned golden eyes.

"Daddy, you okay?" she asked.

Akira shook his head slightly, trying to reboot his brain. "W-what? Oh yeah, totally fine..." He coughed awkwardly. "Ahem. Completely fine."

But his mind was still replaying that moment.

What was that smile... he thought, still somewhat dazed.

Then, after a few more seconds of processing, another thought emerged: She should smile like that more often.

Nia watched her father's dazed expression with growing confusion. What's wrong with Daddy? He looks weird.

Meanwhile, Momo walked a few steps away before glancing back quickly over her shoulder. She caught sight of Akira's stunned expression and had to suppress her laugh.

Her mind immediately went to a conversation she'd had recently. Miss Honoka was right! She placed one hand over her mouth, a mixture of surprise and amusement in her eyes.

But now I actually have to deliver on that promise. I can't just talk big and then lose.

She took a deep breath, composed herself, and put on her friendliest, most approachable smile. Then she walked directly toward Team F.

"Hey, Jiro!" Momo greeted warmly, her tone casual and friendly.

Jiro looked up, slightly surprised by the approach. "Oh, hey. What's up?"

Without warning, Momo stepped forward and gave Jiro a quick, friendly hug — the kind of casual gesture that had become more common after their lunch together.

"Good luck out there!" Momo said sincerely as she pulled back.

Jiro looked a bit awkward, clearly not used to pre-match hugs, but she managed a small smile. "Oh, uh, yeah. Good luck to you, too."

Koda, standing beside Jiro, gave Momo a confused look but nodded politely.

As Momo walked away with Ojiro toward their starting position, Jiro turned to Koda with a confused expression.

"Well, someone's in a really good mood," she commented, adjusting her earphone jacks.

Koda made a small gesture of agreement, and they both headed into the building to set up their defensive position around the objective.

Outside the building, Ojiro looked at his teammate with curiosity. He'd seen what Akira had done in the previous match, and while Momo hadn't displayed that level of destructive power, she was second on the test.

"So, you're the smart one on our team," Ojiro said, trying to sound confident. "What's the plan?"

Momo smiled at him. She tapped her forearm, and a small screen popped out from her armor.

"Watch," was all she said.

Ojiro leaned in slightly, trying to see what she was doing. She tapped the screen a few times, as various symbols and indicators flickered across the display.

Then she looked at Ojiro's confused expression and said simply, "Wait and watch."

Before Ojiro could ask any follow-up questions, All Might's voice boomed through the communication system.

"EVERYONE IN POSITION?"

Confirmations came from both teams.

"THEN... GO!!"

The match officially began.

Momo tapped her screen one more time, pressing what looked like an activation button.

Ojiro waited, expecting them to rush into the building or for Momo to create some kind of weapon or tool.

Instead, nothing seemed to happen.

He looked at her questioningly. "What were y-"

"THE HEROES WIN!!"

All Might's bewildered voice echoed throught the field.

"Wait, WHAT?!"

On the monitors in the observation room, everyone could see the interior of the building where Jiro and Koda had been standing guard. Both were now on the ground, unconscious.

The match had lasted approximately five seconds.

"HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!" Ojiro demanded, turning to Momo with wide eyes.

Momo just smiled — that same mysterious, satisfied smile — and walked calmly toward the building entrance without explaining anything.

Back in the observation room, chaos erupted.

"WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!" Kaminari screamed, pressing his face against the monitor.

"They just... fell over!" Sero pointed at the screen. "They were fine one second and then just collapsed!"

"Did anyone see what Yaoyorozu did?" Kirishima asked, looking around frantically.

"She didn't even enter the building!" Mina added, equally confused.

The students crowded around the monitors, trying to figure out what had happened.

All Might stood at the control panel, his hand still hovering over the button he'd pressed to announce the winners. Even he looked completely lost.

Soon both teams entered the room.

Jiro and Koda walked in looking dazed and embarrassed, both rubbing the backs of their necks. Ojiro still looked completely bewildered, walking behind Momo like he wasn't sure what had just happened to him.

All Might cleared his throat, trying to regain some semblance of control over the situation.

"Young Yaoyorozu," he said, his voice carrying genuine curiosity. "What exactly did you do? I think we would all benefit from an explanation."

Momo walked to the front of the room, and before she spoke, she caught Akira's eye.

He gave her a knowing look and said just loud enough for her to hear, "You sly fox."

She couldn't help but giggle at that.

Then Momo turned to Jiro. "Sorry in advance, Jiro. This might be a bit embarrassing."

Jiro's eyes narrowed suspiciously. "What did you do?"

Momo took a breath and began her explanation.

"When I hugged you before the match started, I placed two small bug-shaped drones on your back."

Jiro's eyes went wide. "You WHAT?!"

"They're extremely small — only about five millimeters each — and colored matte black to blend with your hero costumes," Momo continued, pulling up a holographic image from her wrist display showing the tiny devices. "Because of their size and color, both you and Koda-kun missed them entirely."

She tapped her screen, showing the next phase of her plan.

"The drones are equipped with micro-propulsion systems and electric discharge capabilities. I made the drones hover above you and Koda-kun for approximately two seconds, then landed on the backs of your necks."

Momo made a small apologetic gesture. "The moment they made contact, I activated their electric discharge function. The shock was calibrated to be non-lethal but sufficient to cause temporary unconsciousness."

The observation room fell into stunned silence.

Then Nia, still in Akira's arms, burst into loud laughter.

"NYAHAHAHAHA! Momo, you're so funny! That's so sneaky! You're like a spy!"

The class had a similar reaction.

"THAT'S CRAZY!" Kaminari yelled, thinking of how similar this was to the spy movies he watched.

"This is scary and smart at the same time." Sero added, looking impressed.

"That's actually brilliant," Asui admitted, his dark nature appreciating the tactical deception. "Misdirection at its finest."

"I can't believe you bugged us!" Jiro said, but there was no real anger in her voice, just embarrassed amusement. "That's so sneaky!"

"The drones were that small?" Ochaco asked, leaning forward with interest. "How did you even make something so detailed?"

"My quirk allows me to create anything as long as I understand its molecular structure," Momo explained. "I created them beforehand, and have quite a few in my armor."

Mina turned to Akira with wide eyes. "She finished faster than you! She won in like FIVE SECONDS!"

"That, she did."

"But yours was cooler!" Kirishima protested. "You sliced a building open!"

"Hers was smarter," Asui countered. "Zero property damage, zero risk to teammates, complete tactical superiority achieved through preparation and deception."

The class began debating which victory was more impressive.

Bakugo stood in the corner, his expression dark. His fists clenched even tighter than before. These damn geniuses with their fancy quirks and their fancy strategies.

All Might watched the discussion with a mix of pride and concern. On one hand, his students were showing incredible tactical thinking and quirk application. On the other hand, he was starting to worry about what the rest of the matches would look like if this was the standard being set.

"Well!" All Might finally interjected, his voice cutting through the excited chatter. "That was certainly an... unconventional approach! Who can tell me what we learned from this match?"

Several hands shot up.

"Yes, Asui?"

"Ribbit. The match showed that hero work isn't just about direct combat. Sometimes the best strategy is to end the fight before it even begins. Yaoyorozu-chan used information gathering and turned a social interaction into a tactical advantage."

"Excellent point!" All Might nodded enthusiastically. "The best heroes are those who can think outside the box!"

"It also showed the importance of quirk versatility," Iida added, his hand chopping through the air. "Yaoyorozu-san didn't just create a simple weapon. She created a complex electronic device with multiple functions, demonstrating that a quirk's potential is limited only by the user's knowledge and creativity!"

"Also very true!" All Might agreed.

Momo stood at the front, accepting the praise with modest grace, but inside she was thrilled. She'd made a bold claim to Akira, and she'd actually delivered on it.

She glanced over at him again. He was watching her with that same soft expression from before. When their eyes met, he gave her a subtle nod of approval.

Her heart did a small flip that she tried very hard to ignore.

Nia, observant as always, noticed the exchange. Her eyes darted between Momo and Akira.

Sus, Nia thought.

The small cat smiled to herself, already planning how to tease her father about this later.

Jiro walked up to Momo, still rubbing her neck. "Okay, I'll admit it, that was really smart. Sneaky as hell, but smart."

"Sorry again," Momo said sincerely. "I hope the shock wasn't too painful."

"Nah, it was fine," Jiro waved it off. "Just surprised me. And, uh... maybe don't hug me before matches anymore?"

Both girls laughed at that.
