As the Hokage, he knew full well that Uncle Tonbo, Orochimaru, and the core members of the Technology Development Bureau had conducted evolution experiments on Neji's Byakugan—and succeeded.
Back on the moon, it was this exact power that had saved Hinata.
Now, that power felt even more terrifying.
"It's alright. I didn't use my full power—just chose the move with the most visual flair," Neji replied casually. "Naruto, you could do this easily too, couldn't you?"
Standing nearby, Asuma felt completely speechless.

Immediately after, accompanied by a violent tremor, a razor-sharp mountain peak slowly poked out from the sea's surface.
The peak pierced straight into the clouds, steep and formidable, punching a visible hole right through the white clouds above.
Then, the complete outline of the mountain top gradually revealed itself.
The entire mountain mass rose steadily out of the water.
The mountain range was grand and imposing, with rolling peaks, jagged rocks, and cascading waterfalls plunging down like silver curtains, sparkling with rainbow hues under the bright sunlight.
In the end, an entire brand-new island materialized in full view before everyone.
It was as if it had been quietly slumbering in the deepest depths of the seabed all along, only to be awakened at this exact moment and revealed to the world once more.
"Holy shit... Creation of All Things! It's the Sage of Six Paths reborn!" Asuma blurted out an obscenity.
How was this even ninjutsu? This was straight-up divine intervention!
They were all former classmates, yet the gap between them had grown this absurdly massive.
Destruction was easy, but creation was notoriously difficult—that was common knowledge across the world.
That alone proved just how mind-bogglingly absurd Tonbo's technique was.
Kakashi patted Asuma's shoulder reassuringly. "Our strength isn't even in the same dimension as Tonbo's anymore. My condolences."
That was genuinely what Kakashi thought in his heart.
Setting aside combat experience, even their chakra reserves weren't remotely on the same level.
Perhaps Guy, after opening the Eighth Gate, might have a fighting chance.
Might Guy gave a giant thumbs-up, his dazzling white teeth flashing in the sunlight. "As expected of Tonbo! He's getting more incredible by the day!"
Years ago, they had been classmates who sparred together in taijutsu and ninjutsu.
Now, there was simply no comparison left to make.
And that wasn't just in terms of combat ability.
Whether in daily life or political influence, they couldn't compare to him at all.
Perhaps Kakashi could compete a little in politics, while Guy could test himself in taijutsu!
