Chapter 360: Mirror Dimension
"Alright, I'll force her to use her abilities."
Naruto spoke with dead seriousness. He didn't have time to wonder how Uncle Tonbo had escaped the grand illusion.
Bang! Crash! Boom!
His shadow clones charged at Kaguya while she was still in the middle of regenerating.
Swoosh! Swoosh!
As long as he forced her to deploy her space-time ninjutsu, Uncle Tonbo could bring Sasuke back. Naruto had confidence in this; he already had a battle strategy in mind.
"The little kid who used to beg for hugs has finally grown up," Tonbo whispered, a slight smile playing on his lips as he watched Naruto charge.
At the same time, he couldn't help but marvel at how ridiculous "cheats" were. He had worked tirelessly for nearly twenty years to reach this level, yet in terms of pure raw stats, he could already feel that Naruto surpassed him in several areas.
"Yin Style: Clown's Gatekeeper."
To counter the Otsutsuki's signature space-time maneuvers, Tonbo had naturally come prepared. Although his innate space-time talent wasn't top-tier for a fight of this magnitude, it was sufficient for his needs.
Thump!
While Naruto clashed with Kaguya, a massive, ornate gateway rose from the ground. At the apex of the gate was a stone carving of a clown. The clown's nose emitted ripples of spatial energy, and the runic formulas on the gate shifted dynamically based on the clown's "scent" of the dimensions.
As the jutsu activated, spatial echoes resonated within Tonbo's mind, materializing the invisible coordinates of the dimensions.
Zip!
In the distance, Kaguya silently opened a rift and appeared stealthily behind Naruto.
"First dimension located."
Huff... puff...
In the Desert Dimension, Sasuke was panting heavily, cold sweat dripping down his face.
"In this environment, even if I don't move, my chakra is slowly bleeding away. Dammit... I hope Naruto hasn't died yet."
Sasuke felt his chakra vanishing like water poured into sand, drying up at an alarming rate. It was only because of his high recovery speed that he was still standing; a normal Jonin wouldn't have lasted minutes.
Looking at the endless dunes, Sasuke felt the situation was dire. However, he had already thought of a plan—he just didn't know if Naruto could hold out long enough. Having once absorbed Orochimaru's pocket dimension, he had inherited the Sannin's knowledge, including space-time research. By combining that with the power of his Rinnegan, he was certain he could return to Naruto's side.
But he had no idea how long it would take. He suddenly thought of Uchiha Itachi. If Big Brother were here, he'd have a way, wouldn't he?
Crack!
Suddenly, a disturbance occurred nearby. Sasuke whipped around to see a giant Clown Gate rising from the sand. The doors swung open.
A figure stepped through into the burning heat.
"Fifth dimension... Heh, found you."
Tonbo Tobitake saw Sasuke. Through the open gate, one could see the Lava Dimension where Naruto was being chased by Kaguya. If she weren't so distracted by the endless shadow clones, Naruto would have been caught long ago.
"Tonbo Tobitake." Sasuke was genuinely shocked. This man should have been caught in the Infinite Tsukuyomi outside. How was he here? And it seemed he had come looking for him specifically.
"You look surprised. Surely you didn't think only the ocular power of a Sharingan or Rinnegan could break a Genjutsu?" Tonbo said with a half-smile. This kid was as arrogant as ever.
Whoosh!
Sasuke used Amenotejikara to swap places through the Clown's Gatekeeper, appearing back in the Lava Dimension. He glanced coolly at Tonbo. "You haven't seen true power."
Having said his piece, he swapped again to appear above Kaguya, coordinating a pincer attack with Naruto.
"The cool act failed. This kid is really overconfident in his own strength!" Tonbo muttered. Well, to be fair, he had the strength to back it up. Sasuke's mastery of the Rinnegan was improving by the second. That was raw talent for you.
Bang!
Sasuke, encased in his Susanoo, was sent flying back toward Tonbo. Several All-Killing Ash Bones were lodged in the energy construct, and the Susanoo itself was cracking like glass. Sasuke immediately deactivated the armor.
"Is that all? Let me touch you for a second to set a coordinate. I don't want to have to hunt you down in some hard-to-find dimension again."
Before Sasuke could snap back, Tonbo reached out. Neural threads surged from his hand, instantly permeating Sasuke's body.
"This again." Sasuke recognized it. It was what Orochimaru had shown him years ago—a segment of neural pathways. According to Orochimaru, it could enhance neural reflexes, provide coordinates, and read biological data. Since he still needed Tonbo's help, Sasuke didn't resist.
"Alright, go get 'em. I'll provide support. Good luck!" Tonbo patted his shoulder encouragingly.
Sasuke gave him a look and charged back in.
"Mother! Kill that man first!" Black Zetsu, still pinned to the ground in the distance, screamed. Tonbo Tobitake was a nuisance. Since he could escape the Infinite Tsukuyomi, he might have a way to threaten Kaguya.
Faced with Naruto and Sasuke's combined assault, Kaguya constantly flickered through space-time, appearing and disappearing like a ghost. It was only because of their Six Paths reflexes that they weren't finished.
Hearing Zetsu's warning, she too realized the annoyance. Every time she warped Sasuke or Naruto away, they stepped right back through the gate behind Tonbo.
"Trying to target me? I suppose I should show off a bit then."
Since Tonbo was playing support, he wasn't just going to be a taxi driver. There was no Kakashi, no Obito, and no Sakura this time. He was the only one who could tip the scales.
"Uncle Tonbo, run!" Naruto shouted as a massive Truth-Seeker Orb began to expand behind Kaguya, targeted directly at Tonbo.
"Hey, don't drag us down!" Sasuke added.
Whoosh—!
Kaguya's form began to swell, her body extending at incredible speeds toward Tonbo. Sasuke used Amenotejikara to swap Tonbo out of the way, then swapped himself out to avoid the follow-up, but the Clown's Gatekeeper was caught in the blast and shattered.
"Sasuke, kid, I watched you grow up. Show some respect. Now watch closely—this move will give you half a second. Don't waste it."
Tonbo clicked his tongue. He could have dodged that without Sasuke's help, but let the kid have his moment. He gripped his katana, the tip pointing toward the ground. Naruto and Sasuke both looked at him. Half a second? Don't boast! Even they couldn't pin Kaguya down for half a second.
"This... such massive Natural Energy..."
Suddenly, Naruto sensed a gargantuan amount of Natural Energy converging on Tonbo—it surpassed even his own. Sasuke saw it too; through the Rinnegan, the atmosphere itself seemed to be flowing into Tonbo. They realized he wasn't joking.
"Sage Art: Mirror Dimension."
