Chapter 1
This is my very first fanfic am still a student so I don't know if I can constantly update the story I got some interesting idea that I want to scratch my brain with also sorry for any grammer or wording am trying to correct each one but some may slip through the cracks so please bare it with me I don't know how long the story will be hopefully I don't rush as I want to take my time with it to make character development and make the impact of my character visible am gonna try to make each chapter at least 5k to 10k long and try to upload at least one chapter each week or two week so without wasting more of your time welcome in an hopeful epic adventure

Journal first entry:This is shigen genruy am a high school student I lead a ordinary life on the exterior but in my private life it's completely different as long as I could remember I feel this strange energy like thing flowing from my gut I never could understand for the longest time I thought it was normal but looking into my family archive and library I learned that this strange energy was cursed energy but along this cursed energy I also learned about cursed spirits from what I learned though the text "cursedspirits are made of from the accumulation of cursed energy they usually come from the leakega of cursed energy from the masses spirits" I also learned about jujustu sorcerer by definition are "jujutsu sorcerer are those select few who can manipulate cursed energy and exorcise cursed spirits" I also got to know about cursed technique "cursed technique are innate technique born in jujustu sorcerer at birth they make about 80% of the potential of a jujustu sorcerer" this are some of the most basic term I come to know I learned to manipulate my cursed energy and control it I also found out that I posses a cursed technique it's ability it pretty overpowered if I say so since it's my technique I got to name it and called it hands of alternation cool name huh beside that its ability it's pretty much what you would expect it can change anything that has my cursed energy inprint expect for living things so any living object aside I can pretty much do anything but cursed energy and the object mass are some limitations like if I would turn a piece of wood into a kunai the kunai would have the same weight as the piece of wood it is a broken ability I have not been able to test it's full capabilities but I can freely experiment since its not a ditructive ability in nature I wanted to become a jujustu sorcerer just to test my abilities better but I have no idea how to become one there is also another limitations to my technique if I change an object it will remain in that form so if I change a chair into a bat the chair will remain into a bat and if I want to change the bat into a chair again I will have to use my curse technique again not a dealer break yet limitations are limitations
Shigen POV: I got up early in the morning to go on a jog and do some lifting and exercise I always awake before sun rise it's been my routine for four years since I was ten I have also discovered what this strange energy in my body is it was cursed energy and began to train with it at first it was a rocky start as a ten year old me had no idea of what it was doing but I slowly began to learn on how to wield and mold such energy it has been some interesting years I have also come to know that only one person in one hundred thousand or so has the ability to manipulate curse energy and the people that manipulate curse energy to kill curses are called jujustu sorcerer aside that I also unlocked my very own curse technique hands of alternation a over powerd ability I can freely change any non living things that has my inprint of curse energy on its versatility is pretty much endless I have been skrinking object to carry with me all the time tho I don't really need to much preparation as I can shift things during battle hypotheticaly but than again the property damage would be insane so I opted to preprepare my own objects and due to my curse technique and my curse energy imbued into it it's pretty sturdy I am also keeping up with my study's but to be honest school is just to easy memorizing data or school work is not to hard that why am also taking kendo,hema and laido it maybe due to me just being built different but those classes are not hard but in reality I think is due to the fact I have curse energy and they don't my physical strength speed and reaction time is just on another level compared to them tho I do hold back as to not injure them to badly I have also been taking martial art classes like karate a classical wing chun,akido with curse energy it's just on another level and sanda again curse energy matters but still martial arts it's more tuffer than swordsmanship because it's more fast based combat now you will probably be wondering where the hell are this kids parents well to answer that they died when I was very young so I have been living alone for some time I wasn't placed in foster home due to how wealthy my parents were as I lived in a mansion tho I do live in an apartment now due to my new found ability which I have been testing in forests and cave am like a discount batman but with super power which batman definitely has in secret
After my morning routine I take a shower and eat break fast and head to school I have kept my wealth and powers hidden from my classmate the reason are self explanatory the wealth because I don't want random person coming to me trying to extort money from me and powers because it is not a common thing that's why all my classmate are clueless
Class is the same rubbish random person being too obnoxious in the morning fortunately the teacher comes in and they all shut up good thing other wise I might have nuked them the teacher start with the usual thing on how this is a new experience for all of us as we are in high school am the youngest of my class but due to my outstanding grades and result I have been allowed to skip some grades the teacher ends her great speech it was a great speech really if I had cared to listen by telling us to find and join a club which surprises me a little I didn't think they would make us already settle in clubs but considering they all know each other except for me as am a transfer student I could attend a private school but there is no fun in that I decide to stay away from clubs for now and instead focus on my curse technique I could down the line join the research club which is allowed to venture in the campus even during the night time in the school
Journal entry 2:I have been experimenting on changing my cursed energy in an element like fire, lightning,wind or some other but didn't have success my curse energy is too unstable to undergo the change safely because of the instability it crumbles before it can truly take an elemental shape so for now elemental experiment have been postponed due to me accidentally blowing myself up due to putting too much curse energy into it so instead of experimenting I decide to start hunting cursed spirits which was not difficult
Shigen POV: My advancement in expanding my curse technique failed pretty badly I was lucky that I didn't lose my hand as it was being reinforced with curse energy it's been a couple of months since I started high school and have joined the research club due to the access to the lab and most importantly the ability to move in the campus freely so since my experiment with my curse technique didn't end well I have been working around fire and lightning to understand them better plus due to the high amount of curses crawling throughout the campus I learned to exorcise them effectively and with it decided they if I get more experience in exorcising curse spirits I might end up understanding my curse technique better so I set myself in exorcising course spirits
Journal entry 3: I have been hunting curse spirits for two years to be precise since I was 14 most curse spirits were easy to kill just with my fist and curse energy I have also been training in real combat with different weapons like a katana and spear with the addition of multiple throwing weapons like kunai,knife,shuriken and senbon I also started to use throwing spears they helped me get more accustomed to fight curse spirits I also made a break through and made some improvement in elemental changing or alternation still have not decided that is beside the point but I can use limited application of fire on my weapon not too serious like my normal alteration of matter which i still need almost equal mass to make equal size so I didn't have time to make a more larger or destructive technique. I can force it by filing the missing mass with curse energy but it is only efficient in filling small mass and have no need to use so much curse energy to exorcise a curse spirits I also learned to make proper weapon that are cursed weapon due being made up by curse technique and are treated as such in the jujustu world as normal weapon can't exorcise curses as curse energy is neaded
Shigen POV: My effort have paid off now almost all of the curses in the campus have been exorcised by yours truly that's also thanks to the fact that they are pretty weak I think they are the lowest rank of spirits and after exorcising so many curses I finally managed to use lightning and fire sure it's application are really basic and nothing special yet that opens a bottomless pit of ideas that I could try just thinking about it make me act like a little kid that is opening christmas presents I also have polished my weapons in battle which is way different than sparing or practicing who would have thought that I still didn't get the chance to use the full extent of my power of alternation on large scale just didn't get time plus property damage is a thing well am sure I will get the time
Joirnal entry 4: During the time I have spent hunting curses I have also learned the existence of barriers like a most common barrier being a vail it is mainly used to keep normal people out of the way pretty useful as you don't need to worry about civilian casualties I have also entered an inntate domain of a curse spirits at the time I didn't know what it was but now I feel so lucky it was a barley a innate domain as it may not even be considered as a third rate domain the ability of the curse spirits inside were indeed terrifying if it were not for the fact that there were so many random items in the domain other wise the result could have been ugly plus I also had putted some custom barrier which boost my curse energy output and input pretty useful now I have made an habit of it to use barrier for my advantage and got pretty good at it I also learned of chant and hand signs I wish I had know about this thing before but than again am not doing this because am forced to do it I do it for my own reason plus I think this is what I was meant to do but the best thing to happen to me was that during one of my normal night patrols I found a super interesting spirit the only reason it was interesting was because of the item it had to be more clear a curse tool or weapon though it's ability it's like a tool but it's shaped like a weapon. Which solved the problem that I was having am also working on making construction out of cursed energy but they are to unstable and collapse instantly but that could be an unexpected attack that could get tricky but it could also back fire as the object or weapon could collapse before it hits which is also a possibility but I could also make a double sneak attack with the curse energy construction and do another attack with a different solid weapon well this are all speculation as it is not possible to know entity until I put it to the test against an actual threat or a strong curse spirit which I hope won't be any where in the near future
Shigen POV: I learned of the existence of barriers just now just my luck but it really has been a great improvement in my ability as barrier are super good and useful even the most basic barrier like vail it's application even if it's to not attract attention and prevent civilian casualties it's really good plus from my family's archive and records yes my parents were kinda weird like that they kept the most random book and texture like this makes me wonder if my family has or had any connections with the jujutsu world one of those mysteries that will remain unsolved forever I would want to investigate by finding and reading any family history record but am to lazy to look for such a book in such a massive library with over 50 thousand or so books never counted it when I asked the head maid she told me she lost count at around 30 thousand which made sense am one day going to read the family history to find if my family lineage if they had any connections with the jujustu world but today is not the day one day but not today I keep telling myself for the last two year in truth I truly never had the drive but that for some other day
I have been working on new barriers that are more suitable for fighting which was a success as they are really good their boost and effect speak for themselves I have also been working on pure defensive barrier which have been mixed success I can use barrier that boost my defenses but it only lasts one hit meaning it can only cancel one of any attack before collapsing meaning if I use the barrier to tank one strong attack but instead it gets hit with a weak attack it would collapse and I can't use it continuessly as it has a cool down of give or take 30 second which I reduce to 15 by experimenting and using it I can strengthen the barrier by holding a hand sign bu that cost more cursed energy and completely nullifies my cursed technique which is a bad trade which am not willing to do it's not worth the risk to reward ratio as am stuck in place with no offense I could use it to make space but it's to early to tell how effective it will be in a fight
Plus I have been searching for curse tool and weapons and ask and it will be given as I found a course which was absorbed by curse spirit it was nothing special just a grade two curse but the abilities of the weapon are just what I needed it's a haladie a double sided dagger with a hand guard at the handle it's ability it's to store object ugh remembering the disparity in the innate domain of that cursed spirit makes me shiver if I had this curse tool I would have not to worry about finishing object on which to use my cursed technique I decide to name the curse tool as the infinity blade due to its ability to store anything as long as I supplie curse energy which was a binding vow as it originally could only store a dozen or so of item at one time I bridged that gap with cursed energy making it infinite item as long as I had cursed energy to burn for the exchange that also makes the cursed tool intimate with my curse energy which meant that even if I did not have the cursed tool in my hand or near me I could still summon anything that was in the pocket dimension of my cursed tool
Back flash: I sensed the presence of a pretty powerful curse spirit it is not normal for such curse spirit to be so near campus so I decided to investigate and I found a abandoned building in which I could sense the curse spirit I entered the building not thinking too much about it big mistake as soon as I entered I realized I had quite frankly fucked up because the curse energy from the inside and outside was heaven and earth the overall space was also bigger thinking it was only a barrier because logically if sorcerer can you use barrier so should curse be able to use them little did I know I was walking in a innate domain after walking for some time I felt a huge amount of curse energy coming at me fast I barely moved out of the way the curse cutting some of my hair after moving away I took a good look at the curse its a pitch black half lizard and human having the torso and feet of a human and the tail webbed hand and head of a lizard the curse started growling at me most likely because it missed and was on all fours it started getting on it's feet slowly and I decide to taunt him not the smartest move but eh 'hey overgrown lizard look where you are running next you could have ruined my hair cut' after having said that it dashed toward at me again I jumped and put a tag on its back which imabed itself into its back and gathered curse energy in my foot and kicked it mid air sending him flying toward a wall after landing on my feet's I made a hand sign with one hand holding up my middle and index finger and chanting the world "kaz" making the tag explode in a brilliant light of fire now that the curse was still getting it's baring I crated a barrier that would boost my output and input by atleast
60% after I was done casting my barrier I noticed that the curse was wobbiling getting to its feet having a huge chunk of its torso missing that was regeneration quite quickly so i said 'oh looks like you're missing something seems like you might have lost it in that rubble' I noticed he was gathering curse energy in it's hand which he pointed toward me making a huge jet of acid hurdle toward me I quickly moved out of the way taking a mental note to not get hit by that as it was corroding the place I was standing before quickly I took out multiple cylindrical objects I was storing in my pouch that I was using for storing my curse object on which to use my curse technique and changed them into spears throwing them at the curse I tried to get out of the way by dashing to the right but I had already planned for this as I made a couple of spears move to the right the curse still managed to doge two spears but got hit by two the curse screamed in pain and started to creat more poison but before he could do that I picked up a spear from the ground and imbued it with my curse energy and tried to stab it in his head but he doged and move out of the way throwing poison at me I spun my spear and used my curse technique on the curse energy on the spear generating wind blowing away the poison after dispersing the poison I looked to see that the curse was nowhere to be found I loked at my left, right, back and front but it was nowhere than I felt some thing fall beside me I looked up and there it was as soon as I looked at the lizard it spit acid at me I got out of the way and it jumped down noticing that his torso was fully healed I took a long sigh thinking that it was about to be a long fight it slowly took out the spears still lodged in its torso and tossed it aside I told the curse 'oi you looked better with the spears in you're chest you should put them back' the curse roard at me I looked at the spears now on the ground and thought that I was runing short of objects as the super on the ground had been corroded by the acid of the curse and the spear it had just taken out had also been corroded after taking out both spear it put his curse technique on his claws again this time in greater intensity and quantity noticible by the large amount of curse energy on its hands and rushed toward me I doged his claw swipes and stabed him were his hearth would have been if he was a human he grabbed the spear and started to corroded it realizing what it was trying to do I tried to pull my spear from his hand but it was too late already as the head of the spear remained lodged in his torso while the handle of the spear was in my hand I throwed the handle of the spear putting my curse energy on it but the curse just tilted his head and doged the spear handle and grinned before dashing at me I blocked the curse kick by putting curse energy on my arms but was still pushed far away by the force of the kick if I wasn't using curse energy my arms would have been broken as I was in the air I made the same hand sign as before and made the spear head in the curse explode making huge hole in his thorax after landing I was trying to think of a way to defeat it I thought of using barriers to block it's attack but quickly decided against it they were to big of a gambit and it was not worth the risk and I was down on objects to use as I had already used eight out of the fourteen cylindrical objects in my pouch and I had already taken quite a bit of damage my clothes were torn in some places and I had some cuts and bruises this curse was by far the hardest one I had ever faced as usually I had no trouble defeating any curse that why I had not prepared more objects I could defeat most curse with just my hands and my cursed blade which was too risky to use against this curse as I did not want it to get corroded as I was thinking and making space between me and the curse I noticed a lot of scraps lying around that I could use my curse technique I used the scraps lying around me and put my curse energy into it while I use the remaining object in my pouch I turned them into chains to trap the curse in the meanwhile the curse had already healed and was heading towards me fast while throwing acid at me I said to the curse 'work on your aim next time' and poison was closing in on me I backed a way standing just right behind were the scraps were lying this was a insane gambit because if it failed I would die as most probably I would have a curse technique burn out something I found out in a painful way while I was traning there were 30 scraps lying around me and the curse approaching me on which I would use my curse technique simultaneously a high risk high reward situation after the curse had reached the center of the scraps I used the chains and wrapped them around the curse they had attached to the curse by forming spikes now that the curse was binded it started to screech releasing even more acid trying to corroded the chains from it's body so I also made my move quickly turning all the scraps lying around the curse into spikes which impaled the curse causing it to scream in pain and agony but I still was not done making a hand sign with both my hand by intertwining my hand except my for my index and middle fingers I made a quick chant "oh the almighty take thy sacrifice and make the sinner in the purgatory pay heed to thy crime" finishing my chant I made the spikes blow up in a brilliant show of light extending up to the ceiling making a coulomb of light that single attack had 150% output thanks to the barrier and chants an had sign the barrier on me had collapsed as soon as the attack went off after the light cleared the curse had been exorcised and I finally took the breath I was holding my last gambit payed of better than I could have expected it was probably overkill as if I had used the six remaining cylinder I could have exorcised the curse and my curse energy reserve did take a massive hit as it took one fourth of my cursed energy the most I had ever used to exorcise a curse am sure I could have ended him with less curse energy but I was not confident enough in my abilities as this was my true first fight in which I had to try seriously after this fight I realized I should try to find a curse tool on which to store object for my curse technique and that I should make some adjustments and create new gadgets after catching my breath I looked around realizing the landscape had changed now it truly looked like an old abandoned building than it hit me that I had just entered a innate domain without realizing I had just exorcised one of the curse said to be the most dangerous in the jujutsu world I sighed and mutter some swears before walking out the building

Journal entry 5 Since my technique does not really have much use for hand sign and chants I use a binding vow the book definition of a binding vow is something along the lines of "A binding vow is an agreement between two individuals which is enforced by curse energy and serious consequence for breaking it the most common being death and a binding vow with one self is an oath which grant power under specific condition or circumstances" to be more simple a trade between one's self so by offering the use of chant and hand sign I changed them into command like a certain hand sign can be used to activate my technique or a specific chant can be used for a specific effect like burning something cleaver use huh except for that I also made a binding vow in which I can boost my curse energy output and input by a series of hand sign and chants the chant being "the scavenger of the abyss land me thy claw and scorch the land across thy for the sin of the ether" I know it may sound chuni but I needed a long but fast enough chant the series of hand sign are pretty straight forward due to the long chant it strat with a clap followed by twisting both hand to a 90° degre than forming an conjoint triangle and the last hand sign is interlocking both hand this ends the hand sign portion this increase my output and input by at least 90% which could increase as at the start it was 80% it could potentially get up to 200%. My output and input will remain 90% as long as my finger are interlocked which is a pretty good trade due to the nature of my technique as it is highly strategic or straight forward depending on the opponent though I do see that if I do fight against an opponent who I have to pull all the stops this changes are necessary but they may still not be enough if I don't keep increasing my base stats and curse energy which I have increased tremendously by at least 60% to 70% in the last two years but I still have not been pushed to my limits I hope I didn't just Jinx it
Shigen POV: I have been experimenting with the new curse tool that I had obtained and made some progress as I can summon upto 15 objects at the same time I can summon more objects after a 5 second window initially I could only summon 5 or 6 object at one time before a 15 second window which would be slow and dangerous during a fight meaning I would still have to carry outside objects to any fight but I increased the number of summon at one time to 15 and decreased the wait window to 5 second I have also been working for new application for my technique with my curse weapon it's a plain looking katan that has gold decoration on its handle and an golden yin and yang suba with a fully white double edged blade it looks as beautiful as deadly as so far there has been nothing this blade has not been able to cut through and it's ability is amplification it's acts as an amplifier as before getting the hang of using elemental manipulation I had to use my blade to pull it of I named my sword Maryu I am still in the search for more cursed tools my sword is really powerful but I need to be careful when I use it because I could end up causing destruction and civilian casualties and I have also managed to get better use of my abilities I managed to make them more efficient meaning I can change objects with less curse energy and make them more durable with less curse energy consumption I have also been experimenting on the full range of explosion and it's a been a wonder initially I founded the application of explosions randomly as while trying to find the cool down of my technique I ended up making a kunai explode but I wasn't too sure about the mechanism behind it but I understand it now I already knew the curse energy amount determined the explosion but I couldn't properly concentrate the explosion as more cursed energy would also make the radius of the explosion the only way around it I found was using a hand seal and the word "kaz" but know I can use more cursed energy without making the radius bigger so this is a big win for my explosions I also learned how to use it's raw power using my curse energy only as before I used objects for explosion I will still use the objects in question but I can also ralay on my curse energy only I still have to do the math but if I were to use all my curse energy on a object to make it explode I wonder how big and powerful would the explosion be if it were unrestrained I will fill this curiosity one day but for now I need more proficiency
