The second function of the device is the Imparting a Soul Skill Module. The main requirement for using this function is that a Spirit Master must have a spirit ring that still has extra space for a new skill. To impart a new skill, a separate spirit ring that already has the Soul Skill Module must be placed in a specific spot first. For example, if a cultivator from the Imprint Faction wants to add a Fireball Soul Skill Module to his spirit ring, he has to follow a few steps.
First, he must place a spirit ring that already contains the Fireball Soul Skill Module into the Engraving Device. This ring serves as the template for the process.
After that, the Engraving Device will copy the Fireball Soul Skill Module and imprint it directly onto the spirit ring of the cultivator. This completes the process of imparting the skill.
It is clear that the Engraving Device can lead to many new businesses. From a business point of view, this creates a completely new and fresh market that no one has touched before. Kong Mingan thought about it and realized it felt a bit like the Spirit Pagoda from the future stories of this world.

Another way is to simply inherit a God Position from an older God and move to the God Realm in one single step. But the star ring method is different. It requires a person to condense Soul Cores one by one and transform their spirit rings.
This process slowly evolves their spirit power until it reaches the level of Divinity. The amount of energy needed for this is just as big as the Power of Faith used in the old ways. The only difference is how the energy is used. One builds a star ring, while the other builds a God Position.
Lately, the Snow Empress has been staying in seclusion. She has been using the star ring method to change her spirit power and create new rings. She used up almost all of the ten thousand year profound ice marrow to do this. Because of that, she has successfully built four star rings. Her strength has now reached a level that is truly scary.
To put it in perspective, Kong Mingan once removed the limits on the Forest Kings, Da Ming and Er Ming. He used the divine force of Destruction to let them break the limits of the Douluo Plane and reach the Divine Rank for a short time.
Even then, the Snow Empress was strong enough to fight them and even win. Of course, it might be because the Divine Rank power Da Ming and Er Ming used was not their own and lacked a solid foundation. Still, it cannot be denied that the Snow Empress is now one of the strongest beings on the Douluo Continent.

He even planned to create a new kind of money called soul points. These points would be the only way to pay for anything related to spirit rings. If someone wants a ten-thousand-year artificial spirit ring, they have to use soul points.
If they want to add a new skill or customize their ring, they need soul points. Getting these points is very easy. A Spirit Master just has to put their spirit power into the storage device.
For example, one unit of spirit power would equal one soul point. By doing this, Kong Mingan can collect the spirit power of every Spirit Master on the planet. This will give him enough energy to help himself and his friends reach Divinity very quickly.
Some people might think this plan of taking spirit power is greedy, but it is actually similar to how Gods collect the Power of Faith. Both methods take something from the people to reach a higher level of existence. In his mind, this is just the start.
Once he reaches the Divine Rank, he will look beyond the Douluo Plane. Taking resources from one planet forever will eventually run it dry. The real way forward is to explore the vast universe and the many planets out there.
Kong Mingan started to realize something. Maybe this is why the old Gods like the Angel God, the Sea God, and the Asura God left the world. Staying in the God Realm is safe, but you cannot grow any further there. To get stronger, you have to travel through the stars and find new chances to grow.
