Noise. It was what Aaron managed to hear being one street before arriving at the house where the party will take place.
"Friend this is going to be great" said a very excited Drew sitting at Aaron's side in the Hummer of Drew's father.
Directing his gaze toward his excited friend Aaron could not help but roll his eyes while adjusting the mask.
"We arrived boys" said Drew's father parking the car.
"Thank you Mr. Deluca" Aaron thanked politely.
"Thanks dad" Drew thanked quickly without being able to wait to enter the party.
Once the car stopped Drew opened the door and ran as if his life depended on it while Aaron smoothed his costume.
"Aaron" said Mr. Deluca looking toward the boy in question through the rearview mirror.
"Yes Mr. Deluca?" Aaron asked wanting to know what it was he wanted with him.
"Promise me you will watch over Drew" said Mr. Deluca knowing very well how his son could be.
"Don't worry I will have an eye on him" Aaron responded without taking his eyes off him assuring him that everything will be fine with his friend.
At that response from Aaron Mr. Deluca smiled grateful that his son has a friend like Aaron.
"Anything call me" said Mr. Deluca while Aaron got down from the Hummer.
Aaron nodded while seeing how the Hummer started and got lost turning at the corner while he adjusted the mask.
"Quite a house" Aaron murmured seeing more closely the house which was one of the largest he had seen so far.
It looked like a small modern palace with its impeccable facade of light stone decorated with ornaments for Halloween and a dark stone roof that shone under the lights that covered the facade.
"Let's go inside" Aaron said lowering the mask and entering the house being received by a huge lobby with two stairs that led to the upper floors and to the bedrooms of the inhabitants of the house.
Once inside Aaron saw the house rowdy with teenagers dressed up as all kinds of characters: knights, clowns, superheroes.
Giving a panoramic turn to the house Aaron began to search for his crazy friend through the whole house while the people around him instinctively moved away giving him free path so that he walks without problems.
If in itself the large part of the time people moved away because of Aaron's height this time people did it also with a slight fear upon seeing the costume.
And it is that upon finding out about the party at the last moment and not accustomed to dressing up for parties Aaron had to improvise a last-minute costume so therefore he opted for a horror classic: Jason Voorhees.
A classic costume and easy to make since Aaron already had the boots and the jacket; the only thing he was missing was the hockey mask that he bought for less than 20 dollars and voilà, costume ready.
Once he crossed the hallway he was received by the living room full of loud music and teenagers dancing everywhere; but Aaron concentrated began to scan the area in search of his friend until he saw a familiar cape next to the snacks.
Once he caught his friend Aaron began to walk in his direction while being pushed slightly by the teenagers dancing until finally with much effort he managed to arrive just to hear his friend flirt with a girl dressed as Cleopatra who looked with boredom at his friend.
"So what brings you around here miss?" Drew asked in an attempt at flirting in what he believed was a seductive voice.
"I came to the party" said the girl in question with the voice slightly irritated toward Drew in question.
"With my boyfriend" she finished saying in a deep voice while seeing how Drew's smile was erased and a boy dressed as a pharaoh approached.
"What are you doing dude" said the subject in question while pushing Drew from the chest while he raised his hands.
"Relax friend I didn't know she had a boyfriend" Drew said quickly trying to defend himself.
Grabbing him by the collar of his costume the boy pulled Drew toward him while raising his fist in a sign of threat.
"Well now you know" he said in a low and deep voice while preparing to hit Drew and the girl in question had a smile of self-sufficiency.
Drew seeing the inevitable blow closed his eyes instinctively preparing for the impact but none arrived; and as soon as he opened his eyes he saw how the fist of the subject was held by a gloved hand.
"Who..." the boy began irritated seeing that someone stopped his fist; but what received him as soon as he turned his sight was the fibrous chest of someone and upon raising his head he saw a hockey mask that was looking at him fixedly.
"Ungh" the subject swallowed saliva seeing the responsible one who had his arm trapped while the girl retreated scared.
"How about if we calm down" Aaron said in a low voice while still having the arm of the subject in question held.
"Su-sure friend" responded the boy stuttering slightly intimidated by the costume and the difference in height.
After that Aaron released the arm of the subject while seeing how he and the girl in question turned around and walked away with their tails between their legs.
"I already had it" Drew said as soon as he saw how the boy who seconds before was going to hit him walked away.
"Sure" Aaron said lifting the mask and giving a blank look to his friend.
"I mean it seriously I was going to show him what batman can do" Drew said while posing with the cape of his batman costume.
The costume in question was stupendous and very realistic similar to the one Christian Bale used in the batman movies with the cape and the fake filler muscles.
Without knowing what to respond Aaron wisely stayed quiet and directed his gaze toward the food and drinks.
Choosing a bowl of chips Aaron began to eat while stopping hearing Drew's diatribes; but while Aaron continued eating his gaze could not help but notice a certain group of teenagers with a flask in their hands.
"Alcohol" Aaron thought taking mental note of not drinking anything that he has not served himself knowing that although all went to the same school he would not trust anyone who hands him a drink.
While Aaron had his gaze distracted he felt a hand that touched lightly his shoulder trying to catch his attention.
Once Aaron directed his gaze toward the person in question his mind stayed in blank briefly while a certain part down there rose slightly product of what his sight was processing.
It was Meghan with the cat dress that Aaron had seen in the photos and that being honest left much to the imagination with her body wrapped in a leather so tight that it defined completely her curves and the short skirt that more looked like a babydoll than costume along with the ears, tail and some very high heels; Meghan practically stole the sight of all the boys.
"Do you like what you see" Meghan asked him with a smile while giving a quick turn and seeing how for the first time she managed to have the reaction she expected from Aaron.
"It fits you well" Aaron said after a few seconds recomposing himself from the sight he witnessed.
"Only well?" Meghan asked taking a hand to her hip while posing for Aaron waiting for more reactions from him.
While Aaron recovered control through the corner of his eye he saw how his friend had his mouth open while his brain tried to process if everything he was seeing was true or not.
"Yes" Aaron said firmly recovering at last his self-control.
A pout appeared on Meghan's face upon seeing the impassive expression on Aaron's face while thinking of something she approached more toward him and thanks to her heels now she was at the height of his ear.
"Do you want to go to a more private place?" Meghan whispered sensually into Aaron's ear while her gaze was directed to the rooms upstairs.
Aaron knowing Meghan's intentions but tired of the noise and of being surrounded by people dancing against his best judgment said: "Sure."
At which he saw how Meghan's smile became more feline as if she had caught her prey.
"Hey Drew Meghan invites us to go upstairs" Aaron said in the direction of the batman who was at his side who did not take his eyes off Meghan's neckline.
"What?" Drew asked coming out of his daydream at the mention of his name.
"Just follow me" Aaron said while dragging Drew.
"Aaron I thought we would go alone" Meghan said somewhat disappointed upon seeing the third wheel that was going to ruin her plans.
"Why would you and I go alone?" Aaron asked pretending not to understand anything knowing very well the intentions Meghan had.
"Well... forget it" Meghan said resigned while passing her arm through Aaron's and led the way toward upstairs while giving a look to her friends and friends.
Once going up the stairs Meghan led everyone to a small room on the second floor more private and that muffled the sound of the music from outside.
"Much better" Aaron murmured leaning back on the sofa now that he didn't have to be surrounded by a crowd of teenagers.
"You're telling me" Drew said sprawling on the same sofa as Aaron.
"Guys do you want to play something?" Meghan asked with a bottle in her hand.
"Sure" said one of Meghan's friends.
"We have to do it" responded another.
While everyone nodded in agreement and began to form a circle the gaze of everyone rested on the two boys who were sitting on the sofa.
"Aaron don't you want to play?" Meghan asked in direction to Aaron ignoring masterfully Drew who was at the side of the mentioned.
"I don't know..." Aaron began to say trying not to get involved.
"Come on friend it will be fun" said an excited Drew while he approached and took a seat in the circle they were forming.
"Ugh" with a tired sigh and knowing he had no escape Aaron got up and joined the circle to play with the bottle.
"Fine then whoever spins the bottle must challenge the person to whom the tip ends up pointing" Meghan explained the rules of the game while subtly giving a wink to one of her friends as if she already had something planned.
"Then who starts?" Meghan said with a smile waiting for a volunteer.
At which a boy at the side raised his hand anxious while he took the bottle and set out to spin it until the nozzle stopped in front of a brunette girl dressed as a mermaid.
"Very well Sam" said the boy forming a wolfish smile on his face.
"Truth or dare?" the boy asked.
"Dare" the girl responded with confidence waiting for what dare her friend would have thought of.
"I want you to give a kiss with everything and tongue to the batman over there" said the boy while pointing at a stunned Drew still without understanding the challenge.
Giving a look from top to bottom Sam shrugged her shoulders while she approached Drew who still did not process the situation entirely.
"Prepare yourself for the best kiss of your life batman" Sam said while her lips approached Drew's and began with the kiss.
Rigid at first Drew was like a plank to then little by little relax and let himself be carried away by the kiss while putting his hand on the girl's cheek and letting his tongue join with hers in a deep kiss.
Minutes passed and due to the lack of air both separated from each other.
"Wow" Drew could not help but say after the possible best kiss of his life.
"Not bad batman" Sam said with a smile while sitting back down in the circle and beginning to spin the bottle again.
After that the game continued followed by rounds of truths and dares until at a given moment the girl to whom Meghan had winked her eye had her turn with the bottle and upon spinning it it fell right toward Meghan.
"Truth or dare" the girl asked toward Meghan more as a formality knowing what her friend would choose.
"Dare" Meghan said while her gaze rested on Aaron.
"I want you to spend seven minutes in heaven with the boy who most attracts you from the group" her friend said already knowing whom Meghan would choose.
Quickly Meghan got up from the circle while she headed toward Aaron and took him by the arm to leave that room under the whistles and laughter of the boys in question.
"Where are we going?" Aaron asked confused.
"My room" was the simple response of Meghan while opening a door and putting the two of them into it.
Once in the room before Aaron could see what was happening he felt how a body pounced on him while some lips pressed on his mouth.
"Strawberry" was the first thing Aaron felt as soon as Meghan kissed him and pressed against him.
Then regaining his senses Aaron pulled a reluctant Meghan slightly away who asked him: "What's wrong?"
"This isn't right" was Aaron's simple response.
"Why is it because you don't like me?" Meghan asked looking him straight in the eyes.
At which Aaron did not know what to respond because physically any man would feel attracted toward Meghan.
"It's not that..." Aaron said quickly trying to be as pragmatic as possible before a finger was placed on his lips and silenced him.
"Shhh" Meghan said putting her finger on Aaron's lips.
"You don't have to answer now just let yourself go" Meghan said quickly while her lips approached dangerously to Aaron again.
At which this time Aaron did not pull away and let himself go; because although he may be more mature for his age he was still a teenager and following Meghan's advice he let himself go.
