[After the competition...]
Gojo stood in front of everyone with a shit-eating grin, while Utahime just stood there, shadows on her head. The team of Taokyo stood there unharmed, while everyone in Kyoto was bruised and battered.
Todo looked the most down, crouching in a corner while drawing on the ground, lamenting his loss to Megumi in disbelief.
"I am here to declare that the Tokyo team won every competition! What a mind-bogging surprise! With a point comparison of 30 - 150"
Gojo declared with a grin, chuckling while Utahime gritted her teeth in shame next to him.
Utahime looked at her team with helplessness, covered in bruises and wounds, from either fighting curses or fighting against the other team, only to be beaten without suspense.
'Why can't I just have someone like Akira in my team for once?' Utahime thought with an upset expression as she watched Akira talking wiht the others.
Akira was chatting with Yuka and Maki about where they should go shopping today. Inumaki and Panda spoke with Megumi, listening to him talk about his fight with Todo.
Suddenly, Akira remembered the crow. He looked at Gojo and immediately started asking about it since he must have known something about it.
"A cursed technique that can manipulate crows, you say? Well, there is someone named Mei Mei. But she is more like a mercenary for hire than a Jujutsu Sorcerer,"
Gojo looked at Akira for a moment, his eyebrows raised in suspicion. He knows Mei Mei would not dare send crows to monitor Akira without a reason, unless someone was paying her.
"Do you know where she is? I wanna have a talk with her about rights of privacy and whatnot," Akira crossed his arms, dissatisfaction in his tone as he spoke.
Getting followed by crows was not fun.
And if he finds her, he can force her to tell him about who hired her to keep an eye on him. No one should be doing that unless they are a Curse user or some big shot in a clan.
"No one knows where she is, since she has a younger brother who can teleport them around the world," Gojo shrugged his shoulders as he didn't know.
Ui Ui can teleport him and his sister away to another part of the world, and no one except Gojo would be able to follow them.
Akira clenched his fist in frustration at the reveal of this information.
"Whatever, I guess I'll just stand it for now," Akira said as he walked back to Yuka and Maki, his mood noticeably worse.
"Akira, how about we go on a date tomorrow? You seem irritated, maybe this will cheer you up!" Yuka grabbed Akira's hand with her own, smiling as she pushed up against Akira.
She looked up at him with puppy eyes, and Akira chuckled as he nodded his head. He can't refuse her.
"Maki can come, right?" Yuka suddenly asked, and Akira looked down at her in surprise. Akira thought she would be more jealous and annoyed, not... this.
Akira smiled as he turned to Maki, his eyes and eyebrows raised in invitation. Maki looked away, her arms crossed and her cheeks red, but she nodded slightly to the invitation.
"Sure, I wouldn't mind going on a date with you two at the same time. In fact, I'd love it~," Akira grinned, rubbing Yuka's head gently, while drawing a resisting Maki into his arms.
"What do you think you are doing, fool?!"
Maki spoke with a cute glare, but did nothing else as she allowed Akira to wrap an arm around her soft waist, touching the muscles beneath her skin.
"It's a promise!" Yuka declared with delight.
[Next day.]
"Man, that movie was so awesome! Though I wish the main character actually confessed to the girl a bit earlier...." Yuka stretched her arms above her head with a deep sigh, her eyes focused on Akira as she spoke.
Akira shrank back, understanding the implication in Yuka's words. Yuka wanted him to confess to her, and Akira knew that Maki also wanted him to confess to her.
'Don't worry, I plan to confess. I was only putting this off because of what happened with Kaori,' Akira smiled discreetly, feeling the rings in his back pocket.
It wasn't marriage rings, but it will do for his confession. It wasn't going to be a marriage after all.
"Maki, did you enjoy the movie or nah? It was a sappy movie after all. We can choose an action movie next time-"
"No, I enjoyed the movie, and Akira, just because I like fighting doesn't mean I like action movies," Maki interrupted Akira with a disappointed sigh, shaking her head at his assumption.
"Wow, I never thought you wouldn't like action movies, Maki. I took you for a Jackle Lan kind of movie enjoyer," Yuka spoke up with surprise before finishing with a teasing grin.
"What, you don't like action movies?" Akira asked in surprise and a bit defensively as well.
Action movies are his favourite kind after all.
"Are both of you such idiots? I do like action movies, but that doesn't mean I don't like a romance movie or something similar." Maki rolled her eyes at Yuka and Akira, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Oh, well then-"
"Excuse me for interrupting you three. But I really need to talk with two of you,"
Suddenly, a light voice, filled with a careless airiness, called out to them from an alley to their side. Two pairs of footsteps were heard walking towards them, before stopping a few meters from them.
Akira narrowed his eyes as he looked at a man with long hair and monk-style clothes.
"Who are you?" Akira asked cautiously, sensing the amount of power on this guy's body.
It wasn't the overwhelming power he could feel from Gojo, Kaori, Maki, Hakari, or even Yuka. It was a continuous pressure that felt as if it would eventually tear you down.
Standing next to the guy was a black gentleman wearing a white top and a white cap, and golden earrings. His strength also wasn't bad, but he wasn't a factor.
"My name is Suguru Geto, and this gentleman here is my friend, his name is Miguel." Geto smiled gently, as if he didn't want the entire non-jujutsu human race to be killed.
"What do you want to talk about with me?" Akira asked.
"Akira Shokkotsu, and Yuka Okkotsu. Both of you are Special-Grade sorcerers. I am here for something that both of you have, and to hand out an invitation" Geto stepped closer, a pressure exuding off his body.
Akira just looked at him with impatience and hostility as he sensed the desire and greed in Geto's eyes. The main reason was because of the way he looked at Maki.
It made him want to punch his head off his shoulders.
'Why is he looking at Maki that way?' Akira thought with cold eyes, his hands clenched by his side as he held back from killing the guy. This guy had extreme hostility when he looked at Maki.
'Is he from the Zenin clan? But he has a different surname...' Akira speculated.
"Is he talking about Rika and Chino?"
Yuka asked Akira, a cold light flashing in her eyes as she looked at Geto. Rika was important to her; she is her best friend, while Chino, in her mind, is her mother-in-law.
She doesn't like it when someone has a desire for these two.
"If you're after Rika and Chino, you should take your friend and leave this place," Yuka said, her frown surprisingly cute and her tone clearly threatening.
Geto chuckled in amusement, his hands tucked into his sleeves.
"Calm down, calm down, you two~. I promise I didn't come here for a fight or anything like that. I just came to ask you two about your ideals, and to listen to mine." Geto placed his hands up in surrender, cutting through the tense atmosphere.
"Go on then, explain what you wanna say," Akira sighed before speaking. He wanted to go home already.
"What do you two think about killing off the monke- the non-sorcerers?" Geto asked Akira and Yuka with a smile, a chilling sensation under his smiley expression.
'Monkey?' Akira raised an eyebrow.
