Chapter 135 - Chapter 135 : Arrival at Luna

"Since you wish to see me, then as you wish."

A thunderous voice echoed across the battlefield.

Violent lightning suddenly appeared, wrapped in a destructive aura, and struck Guilliman.

"Shelter."

Alex raised the Staff of Divine Retribution, and surging psychic power erupted.

The released radiance transformed into a golden shield,

blocking all the surging lightning released by the Daemon Primarch, causing it to dissipate in the air.

"You found a helper, I really underestimated you, Roboute Guilliman."

Magnus appeared in the air.

He was a one-eyed giant with glowing red flesh and blasphemous shimmering wings.

The Daemon Primarch's head grew thick horns,

and his face, emanating Warp energy, was fanged, appearing hideous and terrifying.

His former nobility was long gone, replaced by a beast-like sense of superiority.

Magnus looked at Alex with his single eye, his tone cold.

"I cannot see your fate, but I can smell my father's aura on you. I am very curious what kind of promise that rotting corpse gave you, making you willing to become his pawn."

Alex looked directly at Magnus, his tone calm,

"Anyone with a brain knows they should stand on the side of their own race. The favors you have now are all built on humanity being the overlord of the galaxy."

"If that foundation is lost, you will only grovel for survival like those forgotten gods."

"A humble insect who gained a bit of my father's power dares to evaluate me?" Magnus's face showed a hint of anger.

"I am an insect, what are you? An insect so stupid he doesn't even realize it?" Alex retorted,

"Everyone knows there's a smart Ogryn in the galaxy, whose home was burned down, yet he dares not speak."

"And because of his master's command, he had to help the perpetrator who destroyed his homeworld, venting his anger on innocent people, perfectly embodying the words 'groveling'."

"Such a fellow is worse than a stray dog on the street. At least if someone dares to kick a stray dog's den, the dog will bare its fangs at them. If it really can't win, it will hide far away, instead of kneeling before the other party begging for bones."

A malevolent glint flashed across Magnus's face, and the veins on his hand gripping the staff bulged, clearly on the verge of rage.

"What a vicious-mouthed fellow, but unfortunately, a glib tongue changes nothing."

Alex smiled, and he raised the Staff of Divine Retribution.

"Now even telling the truth is vicious? Some one-eyed Ogryn, not only stupid and selfish, but also so fragile-hearted? Like a mentally unsound giant infant."

Guilliman looked at Alex beside him, his pupils widening slightly.

Good heavens, that mouth was like it had been spat on by the poison of the Temple of Vennam.

It seemed he still had much to learn.

He needed to skillfully use the power of language to break the enemy's defenses and gain an advantage.

"Enough."

Magnus roared, releasing his power again, projecting a dazzling arcane radiance,

but it was once again blocked by Alex.

"Are you already so exasperated? Even with the blessings of the gods, you are still a complete giant infant. Seriously, if it's too much, just commit suicide. Ahriman is more mature than you."

"I said, enough." Magnus's single eye emanated terrifying radiance, letting out a deafening roar.

"Your words cannot harm me. A mortal like you cannot even imagine the knowledge I possess."

"I am immortal, eternal. My wisdom has long seen through the mysteries of the universe. You know nothing, you simply do not understand."

Alex said nothing, only silently made a gesture of lifting a person and then slamming them hard onto his knee, then made an exaggerated expression of pain.

"Everyone, come and see, there's a one-eyed Ogryn here whose spine was broken by someone, bragging."

Shyrllian, who was fighting on the battlefield, slew a Tzeentch Daemon of Fear, and her eyes showed surprise as she looked at Alex.

This Emperor's Saint and the other Imperial warriors were truly not of the same style.

Before even fighting, the enemy had already endured a round of psychological torment.

"Die." Magnus's defenses completely broke.

The staff in his hand suddenly erupted, and an indescribable surge of psychic power instantly released, shaking the Webway.

"Magnus, your opponent is me."

Guilliman roared, and he took a step towards Magnus.

The air suddenly became viscous, hindering the loyal Primarch's steps.

The invisible force was enough to crush mortals and paralyze Astartes, but it only slowed Guilliman's pace,

forcing him to grit his teeth and bend forward like someone walking in a storm.

Magnus unleashed a curse on Guilliman that affected both body and soul, but found it had no effect.

The Lord of Humanity's power was at work, protecting his loyal son.

Magnus could only change tactics, using other means to attack Guilliman.

Several azure fireballs the size of a face traced graceful arcs in the air, heading straight for the loyal Primarch.

Guilliman dodged to the side, then forcefully endured the psychic energy released by his opponent and launched a charge.

"You are not the only one who wields this power."

Alex released his psychic energy, condensing it into a spear and throwing it.

The dazzling spear instantly made the battlefield incredibly bright.

Magnus released Warp evil energy, forming a shield.

The spear struck the psychic shield, stirring up a terrifying, surging storm.

Guilliman seized the opportunity and charged into the Daemon Primarch's attack range.

The Primarch leaped high, and the Hand of Dominion, covered in a force field glow, swung out, striking his former brother with unparalleled power.

The force of this punch was incredibly heavy, enough to punch through a Leman Russ Tank.

The fist landed on Magnus's face, and the terrifying force sent him flying backward instantly.

The Daemon Primarch spun in circles, flying into the distance.

Scalding demonic blood sprayed from the Crimson King's broken face,

gathering into a pool of blood on the Webway ground.

In an instant, strange-looking Mushrooms grew in clusters where the demonic blood had fallen.

The disheveled Magnus summoned Warp evil energy to protect himself, to block Guilliman's pursuit and to heal himself.

But he underestimated the combination of Alex and Guilliman.

"Soul Storm."

Alex murmured, his voice ethereal, yet containing the truth of the universe.

The Emperor's power began to erupt with him as an anchor, like a violent, surging, and awe-inspiring tide.

The terrifying storm swept through everything, suppressing and expelling the power of the Warp.

The evil energy summoned by Magnus was completely dispersed.

Guilliman charged over, the Emperor's Sword in his hand burning with bright annihilation flames.

Magnus swung the staff in his hand, and the blade-staff sliced through the air, carrying enough power to cleave a Primarch in half.

Guilliman parried with his sword, not yielding an inch.

Clang!

The clang of metal reverberated across the entire battlefield,

and dazzling light and terrifying energy instantly erupted, sweeping away everything in the vicinity.

After deflecting Magnus's staff, Guilliman swung his force-field-covered fist, striking the Daemon Primarch,

This punch landed squarely on Magnus again, sending him flying once more, crashing into the ruins.

This time, Magnus was even more disheveled.

Due to Alex releasing the Soul Storm,

he was unable to summon the power of the Warp to protect himself,

and he took Guilliman's punch squarely with his body.

His chest armor was already shattered, and his wings were covered in wounds and bloodstains.

He knew that if he stayed, he would repeat Fulgrim's fate,

and with a flash of psychic energy, the Crimson King vanished from the spot.

"Magnus, you coward, come out and face me."

Seeing his former brother flee, Guilliman roared in anger,

He looked around, searching for the Daemon Primarch's trace, but found nothing.

"We must go. The number of Tzeentch Daemon forces is increasing, and Fateweaver Kairos is on his way."

"If Fateweaver Kairos arrives with reinforcements, we will surely be in a desperate situation."

Shyrllian spoke, dissuading the enraged Guilliman.

Guilliman struggled to suppress his anger and looked around the battlefield.

At this point, the battle had reached a fever pitch.

Sicarius, Jubal Khan, and other Imperial heroes were fighting fiercely, slaying traitors and killing Daemons.

But the enemy's numbers far exceeded theirs,

even with the self-sacrificing charges and self-detonations of the God Chosen, it was difficult to stop the overwhelmingly numerous enemies.

From time to time, someone would fall, shouting slogans of loyalty to the Imperium, and the battle was extremely brutal.

"Today is just the interest you pay for your past sins, Magnus. Remember, one day, I will settle the score."

After leaving these words, Guilliman turned to lead the surviving warriors to break through.

"Cortana." Alex called out in his mind.

"Master." Cortana responded instantly.

"Tell all Players level 5 and above to get ready. I will deploy them onto the battlefield."

"Cortana received."

......

Deceased Players respawned at two locations: the Imperial Glory and the Macragge's Honour.

One of these warships was currently traveling at high speed through the Warp, heading towards the Solar System.

The other was still in the Calixis Sector.

After the Macragge's Honour's lighthouse was completed, Cortana launched the World Chat Channel (Beta Version) on top of the existing regional chat channel.

Players flocked to the World Chat Channel, spending Contribution Points to chat.

Wan Lao: "I fought Angron for twenty rounds, and now I feel incredibly confident."

Husky: "It was indeed twenty rounds, but he died in the second round. The next eighteen rounds were him being whipped."

Pig Head Strong: "Hahaha, after the whipping, he probably became a meat paste!"

Wan Lao: "@Big Cat Blood Battle Husky, you bastard, you slandered me, I'm going to sue you for slandering me!"

Little Fatty: "At least you fell in a bloody battle with a Primarch. I was miserable, being pinned down by a group of Daemons and then torn to shreds alive."

Pigtail: "What's that? The Succubus pulled me out of the cockpit and wanted to use his dick to violate me on the battlefield. Luckily, the self-detonation came quickly, or it would have been truly horrible."

"It's so terrifying. Are these Slaanesh Daemons always so depraved on the battlefield?"

Blood Pigeon: "Slaanesh is too perverted, just violating enemies on the battlefield as soon as they're caught."

A Shuai (A Shuai also wanted to challenge Skarbrand one-on-one): "Next time I fight Slaanesh Daemons, I must bring self-destructing bombs. Otherwise, if I lose, it'll be a live-action Japanese adult film set."

"... ... ... ..."

"[Urgent Mission: Reinforcement.

The Guide and the Primarch are on their way to Holy Terra (Earth/Reality), but they are being pursued and intercepted by a massive number of enemies and urgently need living forces for support.

Players will be teleported in batches. The first large-scale teleportation will commence in 15 minutes.

Reward: 70,000 Contribution Points, 10,000 Honor Points, 20,000 Faith Points.

]"

The Players were chatting wildly in the chat channel, but the sudden mission instantly quieted it.

The original topic was abandoned, and the Players turned to discuss the new mission.

"It looks like a real crisis; they're even issuing high-reward missions."

"Keep fighting, brothers, charge!"

"Good heavens, there's more, isn't there?"

"Nothing more to talk about, time to continue being beasts of burden for the Emperor."

"Live for the Emperor, die for the Emperor, crash into walls for the Emperor!"

"Keep fighting, keep fighting."

"... ... ... ..."

... ... ... ...

On the Webway side.

Magnus, having suffered a great loss, hid in the shadows, no longer daring to appear openly.

But Tzeentch Daemons and evil sorcerers pursuing the Crimson King continuously poured into the battlefield, their numbers growing.

Although Alex, Guilliman, and others fought valiantly, their progress was greatly slowed, eventually becoming almost impossible to advance.

The enemies swarmed them into the ruins filled with broken spirit bone structures.

The Loyalists soon found themselves surrounded on all sides.

And at this moment,

Light erupted from Alex's body,

The Emperor projected his power through him as an anchor point.

The augury readings flickered wildly, and the communication channels were filled with ghostly whispers.

Shadows manifested from hellish flames, coalescing into form.

Dark armor, Hollow bone ornaments, and the cursed legions wreathed in Aetheric fire appeared at the Primarch's most critical moment.

Bullets imbued with the Emperor's wrath poured out, sweeping away the surging Daemon army.

Alex also summoned the first batch of Players at this time.

Accompanied by the flash of teleportation, the high-spirited Players entered the battlefield one after another.

"A thunderous boom in the sky, I shine brightly, Angron, dare to fight again!" Wan Lao shouted as he charged out, his chainaxe roaring incessantly.

But what greeted him was no longer the bloodthirsty Daemon army, but Daemon sorcerers skilled in witchcraft.

"Your mission is to stop the pursuers at all costs," Alex ordered the Players.

"My great axe is already thirsty for blood! Kill! Kill! Hack! Hack!"

"Kill Gods if they block, kill Kairos if he blocks, kill Magnus if he blocks, just one word for all of them: kill!"

"Charge, brothers! Capture Magnus alive, reward a million gold, and be enfeoffed as a Marquis of Ten Thousand Stars!"

"... ... ... ..."

The Players shouted various slogans, each one full of fighting spirit, charging fearlessly into the Daemon tide, once again stirring up a cruel storm of blood.

"Go!" Shyrllian shouted, telling the Primarch and others to follow her.

With the help of the Players and the Cursed Legion, they broke through the Daemons' heavy encirclement, breached the enemy's lines of blockade one after another, and rushed into the deepest part of the Webway.

Magnus appeared above the Daemon tide, just about to flap his wings to pursue Guilliman, when someone on the ground shouted.

"One-Eyed Ogryn, your grandpa is here! Come quickly and die!"

This voice was too familiar, causing the Daemon Primarch to instinctively look back, his pupils instantly widening.

The ant who should have died had actually reappeared in front of him, alive and kicking, even carrying a battle axe and pointing at him, shouting provocatively.

Magnus glanced at the fleeing Guilliman, a look of hesitation on his face.

At this moment, Bald Donkey shouted.

"One-Eyed Ogryn, get down here! Today I will cut off your dog's head!"

Magnus was enraged, instantly diving towards Bald Donkey, intending to tear him completely to shreds.

His speed was incredibly fast, and he instantly rushed in front of his opponent.

At this moment, a mountain-like black shadow rushed out from the side, throwing a punch at the Daemon Primarch.

A sharp whooshing sound came from the air; the force of that punch was terrifyingly powerful, its lethality absolutely no less than that of a Primarch.

Bang!

The air rippled, slowly spreading out.

Magnus was knocked flying again,

With a bang, he crashed like a cannonball into the nearby ruins, raising a cloud of dust.

"Hahaha."

Old Thirteen, clad in heavy armor, laughed, "Trampling Daemons and hammering Primarchs, there's no one like me in Warhammer!"

Magnus stood up, seeing the target that attacked him, and his body trembled with rage.

It was an Ogryn??

He was hit by an Ogryn; this was an absolute humiliation!!

Damn it!

"It seems that two eyes are indeed better than one eye," Bald Donkey jumped out, mocking Magnus.

Magnus, seething with rage, gripped his staff tightly. He would make these damned ants realize the cost of provoking him.

Bright flames flowed from Magnus's single eye, and an indescribable pressure emanated.

The power of the Warp surged like a tide, converging on the Daemon Primarch, as if to solidify into a physical form.

Old Thirteen's heart jolted, and he ran towards the Daemon Primarch, trying to interrupt his channeling.

But he saw the other party extend a hand,

An invisible force instantly pressed in from all directions,

The heavy armor creaked under the psychic pressure,

Boom!!

After crossing a certain critical point, Old Thirteen was instantly crushed into a pulp, and his sturdy heavy armor was also reduced to scrap metal.

"Monster, give me back my brother's life!"

Seeing Old Thirteen's tragic death, Bald Donkey shouted,

Magnus turned his gaze to him and chanted an ancient, malicious curse.

Bald Donkey let out a scream; his body, blessed by the Emperor, mutated into combustible material under the curse,

And instantly burst into fierce, raging flames, incredibly ferocious.

In just a moment, Bald Donkey was burned to ashes.

Magnus fell into a state of fury, displaying unparalleled power,

Wantonly slaughtering Players and Cursed Warriors, leaving them no chance to fight back.

Fateweaver Kairos also arrived at this time with a large army.

"Damn it, why are there even Great Daemons coming to support One-Eyed Ogryn!!"

"So many Daemons, holy crap!!"

"Fateweaver is here, we're screwed!"

"... ... ... ..."

Players continuously fell,

But each Player's demise bought more time for the pilgrimage team to withdraw.

Alex summoned Players in batches, telling them to stop the enemy at all costs.

Finally, a teleportation gate sealed by runes appeared before them,

"Put on your helmets," Shyrllian instructed.

The surviving Players and warriors obeyed the command, put on their helmets, and activated their respirators.

Shyrllian chanted an ancient spell, opening the sealed Webway gate.

Everyone passed through the glowing archway, arriving at the destination of this Webway journey—Holy Terra (Earth/Reality)'s only natural satellite, Luna.

Alex stepped through the flickering Webway gate, and the spaces inside and outside the Webway instantly superimposed on each other.

The weight of Holy Terra (Earth/Reality) suddenly doubled; this unprecedented feeling made Alex feel vaguely uncomfortable.

Everything around him twisted; the scene before him was no longer the illusory space within the Webway, but the dark deep space and dazzling cosmic rays.

The surviving Players looked at everything around them with surprise,

One second, they could still feel a slight warmth in the surrounding air,

The next second, everything around them was only bone-chilling cold, a deadly, nearly oxygen-free vacuum.

They stepped forward, treading on the rolling dust of the moon's surface.

"This is one small step for me, but a giant leap for mankind," Warmaster quoted the famous words of the first man on the moon.

"Sorry, mankind's giant leap has already been made. Now your small step is merely your small step," Tenjiro unceremoniously poured cold water on him.

"I can't talk to you anymore," Warmaster turned his head away.

"Finally, we're here," Tenjiro sighed, "Brothers died batch after batch, but we finally made it to Luna."

"It's not over yet," Zhuge said. "Don't think that the Guide letting us live until now was simply to let us see Holy Terra (Earth/Reality)."

"I thought we had a high favorability score, which is why we weren't sent to block the enemy!" Warmaster said.

"You're thinking too much. It should be for the final blow," Zhuge analyzed. "Magnus won't give up so easily."

No sooner had he spoken,

An explosion occurred at the Webway gate,

Blasting away many Eldar who intended to seal the gate,

Magnus and Kairos, along with many Red Letter Warriors and Tzeentch Daemons, surged into Holy Terra (Earth/Reality).
