Chapter 32 - The end chapter

THE END OF BOOK ONE

The journey to find the lost Kingdom of Aurelia has reached its end.

Four strangers discovered they were never strangers.

A quiet orphan who could see fragments of the future.

A girl guided by the voice of nature.

A compass that never pointed north, but toward destiny.

A mysterious box waiting centuries to be opened.

Together, they uncovered forgotten kingdoms, awakened ancient guardians, and found the truth that changed everything—

They were not merely chosen.

They were the Five Heirs of Aurelia, reunited after centuries apart.

But every answer uncovered an even greater mystery.

Who created the mysterious Gate?

What kingdom vanished from history?

Who—or what—is the Devourer?

And why does the Gate continue to call their names?

Some mysteries were solved.

Many remain hidden beyond the Gate.

The first journey has ended.

The true adventure is only beginning.

BOOK TWO

THE KINGDOM BEYOND THE GATE

"Every gate is built to keep something out... or to keep something in."

PROLOGUE

THE FIRST TO CROSS

The world slept.

The mountains surrounding the Frozen Fortress were silent.

Snow drifted gently beneath a sky filled with countless stars.

Everything appeared peaceful.

Too peaceful.

Far beyond the fortress...

Beyond every known kingdom...

Beyond every map ever drawn...

An enormous stone gate stood alone in an endless valley.

It was older than Aurelia.

Older than the Final Archive.

Older than memory itself.

Its surface was covered with symbols no living person could read.

For thousands of years, it had never moved.

Never opened.

Never spoken.

Until now.

A faint silver light spread across its ancient carvings.

The symbols awakened one by one.

A deep rumble echoed across the empty valley.

Dust fell from the towering doors.

A narrow crack slowly appeared between them.

The Gate...

Was opening.

From the darkness beyond came a cold wind unlike any that existed in the human world.

It carried whispers.

Thousands of voices speaking at once.

Names long forgotten.

Kingdoms erased from history.

Promises broken centuries ago.

Then...

A hand emerged from the darkness.

Pale.

Unnaturally still.

A black ring engraved with a forgotten star rested on one finger.

The hand touched the stone.

For the first time in ages...

Someone crossed the Gate.

A hooded figure stepped into the moonlight.

Their face remained hidden.

Only a faint smile appeared beneath the hood.

"So..."

The voice echoed through the empty valley.

"The Five Heirs have awakened."

The figure looked toward the distant mountains where the Frozen Fortress stood.

"They're earlier than expected."

A raven with silver eyes landed on the figure's shoulder.

It carried a torn piece of ancient parchment.

The figure unfolded it.

Across the faded paper were six names.

Five were glowing.

One remained hidden beneath a streak of black ink.

The figure slowly traced the hidden name with a fingertip.

"It won't stay forgotten for much longer."

Without warning, the parchment burst into silver flames.

The ashes scattered into the wind.

The hooded figure began walking toward the human world.

Each step caused the ground beneath their feet to bloom with glowing blue flowers that disappeared moments later.

Far away...

Inside the Frozen Fortress...

Riva awoke with a sharp gasp.

The silver pendant around her neck burned with warmth.

She looked toward the northern horizon.

Toward the place she had never seen...

Yet somehow remembered.

Beyond the mountains.

Beyond the snow.

Beyond the Gate.

Someone had arrived.

And deep within the darkness beyond the Gate...

Two crimson eyes slowly opened.

Watching.

Waiting.

Smiling.

The Second Journey had begun.
