Superman was stronger much stronger than Frieza in his final form, give or take around 150 million based off what he can sense.
Zar was an ancient saiyan .
When Zar made the choice to enter his Primordial form, his base form which was 30 million, was now multiplied by 200x at the first stage now his current battle power was at staggering 6 billion ,he let out a sinister laugh as black fur engulfed his body, eyes glowing abyssal red, aura bending gravity itself. The universe resisted him but he ignores it .

Zar responded to superman with a violent three piece combo, 2 body shots 1cross to the temple and superman gritted his teeth and decided to stop holding back, that combo must have woke him up, using his superior speed to my own, he built up momentum and came in with a heavy right cross straight to my face pushing me so far back I left earth's local space and found myself near Venus and much closer to the sun .

STAND DOWN: said superman and what he got was a spinning round house to his mid section then an elbow to the face then a z vanish behind him followed by a knee to the back, sending superman crashing down to Venus. Zar didn't waste time remembering he doesn't have plot armor, he power up into his second stage of the primordial form, his ki grew dense like a thick blanket draping his form.

Their battle cracked venus and began to shatter the planet .
Zar didn't want to kill superman .
He dominated him.
Not physically—but conceptually.
Superman drifted in outer space towards the sun unconscious.. When he woke he would remembered fear.
