Zar made a choice the gods never understood.
He did not ascend.
He refused, he refused law.
Where mortals begged for transformations and abilities and deities rewarded escalation, Zar crushed his own higher states back into his spine, into marrow and nerve.
The Primordial form slept beneath his skin like a coiled star, restrained by his will alone no one else's .
> If I cannot rule in base, he thought, I do not deserve to rule at all. He remembers watching how goku and vegeta would grow dependent on transformations and ignore the most important thing and thats their base forms natural power.
Zar decided to go all out from the start in his base form.
Beerus felt the pressure first.
The God of Destruction's whiskers twitched as Zar stood barefoot on a dead moon, aura sealed, power deliberately compressed until reality screamed under the strain.
"This is arrogance," Beerus said, yawning. "Even for a Saiyan."
Zar vanished as he didn't come to exchange philosophy with Zenos pets
The moon shattered from the shockwave of his movement.
Beerus blocked the first strike—and slid backward through vacuum in slite shock, claws carving fireless sparks into space. Zar followed, relentless, fists colliding with divine flesh not through brute force alone but timing, each blow landing between heartbeats, between instants where gods assumed safety in their divine position
Beerus got annoyed, uses 50% of his power and countered with Hakai.
Zar let it touch him.
The erasure burned. Skin peeled. Atoms unraveled.
He did not scream.
He adapted.
His base form learned the shape of annihilation, muscles hardening against nothingness itself. He headbutted Beerus through the Hakai field and snapped the god's nose, then as the god flew back the impact force which not only shattered the moon they were on but the surrounding fabric of the universe causing whis to frown and intervene on Beerus' behalf as his angel.
When Beerus fell unconscious due the interfering angle , Zar stood in opposition, bloodied, clothes smoking but alive.
"annoying angel ," he said quietly, and left Beerus breathing.
Not out of kindness but due the fact whis was in his way for now .
But the gods will remember some mortals were not their puppets to be controlled, especially an Ancient Saiyan .
