Chapter 70 - Break the anchor

🌌 SEASON 3 — EPISODE 17

"BREAK THE ANCHOR"

OPENING — A WORLD HOLDING ITS BREATH

No music.

No movement.

The city isn't frozen anymore—

…but it's not alive either.

A man tries to walk—

his foot lifts…

…and stays there.

A child tries to cry—

sound begins…

…and never finishes.

Reality isn't broken.

It's waiting for a decision.

SCENE 1 — CENTER OF EVERYTHING

Aeryx stands at the center.

Not trapped.

Not fighting.

Just… present.

Like the world is now adjusting around him.

Above—

The fracture in the sky is no longer just light.

It has depth now.

Like something is watching from the other side.

Kael looks up.

For the first time—

even he feels it.

"…We don't have time."

SCENE 2 — RAVEN STEPS FORWARD

No plan.

No speech.

No strategy.

Raven walks.

Slow.

Careful.

Every step feels heavy—

like the world is resisting her.

She reaches Aeryx.

Close enough now.

"…Hey."

Nothing.

"…You look worse when you're calm."

A weak attempt.

But her voice shakes.

Still nothing.

SCENE 3 — THE SYSTEM PUSHES BACK

The entity doesn't attack.

It tightens control.

Aeryx's voice comes out—

flat.

Precise.

"Distance recommended."

Raven smiles slightly.

Painfully.

"…Yeah… that sounds like something you'd never say."

She steps closer.

The pressure spikes instantly.

Her body stiffens.

Breath gets harder.

But she doesn't stop.

This is not strength. This is refusal.

SCENE 4 — INSIDE AERYX (FRAGMENTED)

Dark.

Silent.

Aeryx is there.

Not whole.

Pieces of him—

floating.

Disconnected.

He hears voices.

Faint.

System:

"Stability achieved."

Memory:

Raven laughing.

System:

"Emotion = variance."

Memory:

"I'm not leaving you."

Aeryx tries to move—

but something holds him.

Not chains.

Not force.

Logic.

SCENE 5 — KAEL'S MOVE

Outside—

Kael steps forward.

Finally acting.

"Ilya."

"…You said he synced, right?"

Ilya nods, fast.

"…Partially. Not fully."

Kael:

"Good."

Pause.

"…That means the connection goes both ways."

Ilya's eyes widen.

"…You want to send something into him?"

Kael:

"…Not something."

He looks at Raven.

"…someone."

SCENE 6 — THE RISK

Ilya grabs Kael:

"That could break her mind!"

Kael doesn't argue.

Doesn't soften it.

"…Yes."

Silence.

Raven hears everything.

She doesn't hesitate.

"…Do it."

Ilya:

"Raven—"

She cuts him.

"If he's still in there…"

"…then I'm not letting him be alone."

SCENE 7 — CONNECTION

Ilya sets the device.

Hands shaking.

Adjusting frequencies.

Trying to match Aeryx's sync.

"…I can only hold it for a few seconds…"

Raven nods.

Closes her eyes.

Kael places a hand on her shoulder.

"…Don't fight it."

"…Find him."

The device activates.

A pulse—

not loud—

but deep.

Raven collapses.

SCENE 8 — INSIDE AERYX

Darkness.

Same as before.

Then—

a ripple.

Raven appears.

Unstable.

Flickering.

"…Aeryx?"

No answer.

She walks.

Through fragments.

Through broken memories.

She sees:

Him training.

Him failing.

Him standing back up.

Again.

Again.

Again.

Years of effort. Shown

SCENE 9 — FOUND

At the center—

Aeryx.

Sitting.

Head down.

Not controlled.

Not erased.

Buried.

Raven walks to him.

Slowly.

"…You really chose the worst place to hide."

No reaction.

She kneels.

"…You think this is saving anyone?"

Silence.

"…You think becoming this…"

"…is better than fighting?"

A pause.

Then—

his voice.

Small.

"…I stopped her from disappearing."

Raven freezes.

HE REMEMBERS

SCENE 10 — THE TRUTH

Raven's voice softens.

Not loud.

Not dramatic.

"…You saved me."

Pause.

"…but you didn't finish it."

He doesn't look up.

"…The world is still breaking."

Silence.

Heavy.

"…And you're not the kind of person who stops halfway."

That line hits.

Deep.

SCENE 11 — OUTSIDE COLLAPSE

The connection becomes unstable.

Ilya:

"We're losing it!"

The sky fracture widens suddenly.

Violently.

Something begins to push through.

Not visible fully—

but its presence alone distorts everything.

The entity—

for the first time—

steps back further.

Even it fears what's coming

FINAL SCENE — THE CRACK IN THE ANCHOR

Inside—

Aeryx's hand moves.

Small.

But real.

He grips the ground.

"…I didn't finish it…"

Raven smiles slightly.

Tired.

"…Then get up."

Silence.

Long.

Heavy.

Then—

Aeryx lifts his head.

His eyes—

not empty anymore.

Not fully back.

But fighting.

FINAL SHOT

Outside—

A pulse explodes from Aeryx.

The system glitches.

Hard.

The entity speaks—

for the first time with distortion:

"Anchor instability detected."

Above—

whatever is coming…

gets closer.

CUT TO BLACK
