Spider-Man Peter Parker, who was being tossed around like a ball, lost his strength and was lifted like a dried fish by Electro.
"Spider-Man, experience the pain I've endured!"
Countless electric currents shot out, continuously shocking Spider-Man Peter Parker's frail body.
Spider-Man Peter Parker's body trembled uncontrollably, stimulated by the powerful currents, he was unable to resist.
Suddenly, Spider-Man Peter Parker saw lights approaching in the distance—it was a police car, somewhat familiar, and the person inside was even more familiar.
"Gwen!" Peter Parker's eyes widened.
Perhaps with all his attention on Spider-Man, Electro didn't notice the police car crashing into him from behind.
Bang!
Electro was sent flying by Gwen Stacy in the police car; because he didn't detect the impact beforehand, Electro didn't have time to electrify his body to evade.
Electro's electrification ability is an active skill, not a passive one, so it cannot defend against sneak attacks.
As Electro was sent flying, Spider-Man also fell from the air. Ignoring the pain in his body, Peter Parker quickly rushed to Gwen Stacy, who had gotten out of the car.
"Why are you here? It's very dangerous, there are deadly lightning bolts everywhere!"
"Look!"
Guided by his Spider-Sense, Peter Parker pointed casually, and a lightning bolt happened to strike exactly where he pointed.
Although Gwen Stacy had mustered her courage to come here, she was still startled by the lightning.
"You were just fighting like that, it's too dangerous!"
Gwen Stacy didn't worry about her own safety, but rather Peter Parker's first.
"I'm fine, I can solve this quickly, you should leave here now!"
"No, I can help you. I've studied this power grid center and can help you restart it to defeat this lightning monster!"
After several rounds of intense persuasion, Peter Parker finally agreed to let Gwen Stacy stay and help him. Gwen Stacy quickly ran towards the power grid control center, while Spider-Man Peter Parker turned to look at Electro, who was slowly getting back on his feet.
"Dude, recovering that fast?"
"You actually hit me with a car!"
"Hey, it wasn't me who hit you just now."
Spider-Man Peter Parker cried out in injustice.
To buy Gwen Stacy time to restart the system, Spider-Man Peter Parker began to kite Electro, performing acrobatic stunts. Having learned his lesson from before, he constantly guarded against Electro using the electric towers for rapid movement again, moving in as many arcs as possible.
After circling the power grid center several times, Spider-Man Peter Parker saw that Gwen Stacy was ready at the controls. He then shot a web line, quickly arriving at the electric tower that Electro had initially damaged, and shot a web onto the broken cables. He intended to use the powerful energy from the grid's restart to defeat Electro in one fell swoop.
With effort, Spider-Man Peter Parker was about to forcibly connect the two cables.
Just as the cables were about to be forcibly connected by Spider-Man Peter Parker, an oddly shaped pumpkin rolled to his feet.
"What is that?"
Spider-Man Peter Parker was still wondering why there was a strange pumpkin here when his Spider-Sense began to give a strong warning.
His body reacted before his mind; Spider-Man Peter Parker let go and simultaneously leaped away from the strange pumpkin.
Bang!
A violent explosion erupted where Spider-Man Peter Parker had just been standing. The already severely damaged electric tower was completely destroyed, and the broken cables looked impossible to reconnect.
"Cough, cough, these pumpkins shouldn't be used on Halloween."
Spider-Man Peter Parker, grazed by the explosion's aftermath, felt pain all over his body, even more painful than when Electro had been repeatedly shocking him earlier.
"Max, you almost messed it up!"
Riding a hoverboard, Harry Osborn, clad in green metallic armor, descended from the sky.
The metallic armor was used to sustain Harry Osborn's life.
Osborn suffered from a genetic hereditary disease; both his father, Norman Osborn, and he, Harry Osborn, were afflicted with it.
To cure this disease, his father, Norman Osborn, dedicated his life to the field of biomedicine, which is perhaps why Osborn Group became a giant in the biomedical sector.
The ultimate result was the equipment Harry Osborn was now wearing.
Through continuous experimentation, Norman Osborn, based on the incomplete Captain America serum provided by the Military, spent decades researching and finally produced the Green Goblin Serum, or rather, an imperfect Green Goblin Serum.
Norman Osborn initially wanted to develop a serum with the same or even superior effects to the Super Soldier Serum to treat his genetic hereditary disease.
But he underestimated the difficulty of the Super Soldier Serum. After years of research, let alone surpassing the Super Soldier Serum, the Green Goblin Serum he developed had significant side effects itself.
After injection, the Green Goblin Serum would provide the injector with immense power, but it would also ravage the injector's life; within 5 minutes at most, the injector would die.
The serum, originally intended to treat disease and prolong life, had turned into a deadly poison. Norman Osborn could not accept this, so he developed the life-sustaining armor that Harry Osborn was now wearing.
This highly futuristic armor could treat the wearer's body while being worn, ensuring they wouldn't be killed by the Green Goblin Serum's side effects.
Norman Osborn, concerned about the efficacy of the Green Goblin Serum and the life-sustaining armor, had never used them, but Harry Osborn, pushed to the brink, used them without any hesitation.
As a result, Harry Osborn's genetic hereditary disease was treated, but his body also became terribly disfigured, almost on par with Deadpool. Most crucially, Harry Osborn's mental state also suffered problems.
He became extreme and volatile.
"Osborn, my affairs are none of your business!"
Electro snorted and raised his palm again, delivering a palm lightning strike to Spider-Man Peter Parker.
"Hey, that's not fair play! Don't you understand the rule of not attacking while speaking?"
Spider-Man Peter Parker dodged Electro's attack with a leap.
Just as he was about to continue speaking a few more words to stall for time and think of a countermeasure, Spider-Man Peter Parker caught sight of that familiar figure in the air. Although the person was wearing strange armor and seemed to have a disfigured face, Peter Parker recognized him at first glance.
"Harry!" Peter Parker exclaimed.
Spider-Man Peter Parker froze for a moment, but Electro didn't. A lightning bolt struck Spider-Man Peter Parker directly.
Spider-Man Peter Parker started doing a breakdance.
"Huh—?"
Harry Osborn heard a rather familiar voice, a voice he knew all too well—it was his best friend Peter Parker's voice, he couldn't be mistaken.
"Peter, is that you?"
"Why is it you!"
"Why are you Spider-Man, and why do you betray me!"
