Caelis had completely dropped his mask of being a young child. Now, the only thing that looked childish about him was his body.
But from the way he spoke to the look in his eyes…no one would ever question whether he was an adult or not based on it.
Those same intelligent eyes looked at the Emperor beside him with a questioning expression. But Kaiden did not reply to him at first.
However, after a few seconds, the emperor did decide to give Caelis an answer.
"It was…not hard to interpret that something had gone wrong. Otherwise, the goddess would have sent a sign of her victory already and tried to destroy this place. But this place is not only standing, but people are conscious as well."
Kaiden had been able to guess what the goddess would do based on her past behaviour. That was what made him dangerous as an opponent.
