The last thing the saintess recalled was sitting in the carriage that was to take her to the capital once more. The high priest had asked for her help, and she had almost hesitated before agreeing.
But halfway through the road, her carriage had struck a rock, and she had gotten down to check on it.
One minute, she was checking the damage; the next, she had been knocked out and brought to another kingdom, with Lady Reina sitting in front of her and welcoming her back to the world.
"You don't need to worry too much, Saintess Rosalyen. You are here only as a temporary measure to make sure things go well. Your presence can ruin a well-planned surprise too early."
Lady Reina spoke softly, but her voice sounded almost cold, telling the saintess that she had better not press her luck.
Still, she felt too curious to sit still, and she was not able to hold herself back from asking more questions.
