The implications of such a truth were almost paradoxical.
If the Supreme Spirit was his enemy then…the entirety of Ithuril was his enemy, the whole universe, and beyond that, it'd also mean that the entire Sentinel race would stand against him.
But he was a Pioneer.
Uriel, through pure instinct, could tell that his status made things much more complicated for them. If a Spirit could simply kill its Pioneers as it liked, then there'd be no point.
But to Uriel, there was an even deeper layer of consideration.
Why?
For the royal families of the Wildlands, he could understand, since Lucianna had told him that his grandmother had made an enemy of them all.
For the horrors of the universe, Uriel could somewhat understand their desire for him. He assumed it to be linked to the secret of Ithuril and how life sprouted again even in spite of the corruption spread throughout the universe.
