Chapter 2 - i became god and invented Streit fighters

Hier ist Kapitel 2 auf Englisch, im gleichen Stil wie dein erstes Kapitel, aber etwas optimiert, damit es auf Webnovel sehr gut funktioniert:

Chapter 2 – The God Who Invented Money Because Bartering Was Annoying

Vorlim forgot he was a god.

Not completely.

Not philosophically.

Not in some deep, tragic, identity-crisis way.

He simply… stopped caring.

Divinity was exhausting.

Existence was fine.

Comfort was better.

So he did what any reasonable former god would do.

He opened a business.

The world was primitive.

Painfully primitive.

People traded chickens for bread.

Bread for tools.

Tools for favors.

Favors for promises.

Promises for disappointment.

Vorlim watched two grown men argue for three hours over the value of a goat.

He decided this could not continue.

So he invented money.

Not through divine revelation.

Not through cosmic law.

But by printing pieces of metal and telling everyone:

"This is worth something."

They believed him.

Because Vorlim had confidence.

Confidence was 90% of economics.

The other 10% was violence.

Vorlim avoided the violence part.

Mostly.

He became rich quickly.

Absurdly rich.

Stupidly rich.

He built a large estate on a hill.

He ate roasted pigeons like a Roman emperor.

He received massages daily.

Sometimes twice.

He slept long.

He woke up late.

He did nothing.

And he was happy.

Almost.

There was one problem.

He couldn't play games.

No computer.

No screen.

No keyboard.

No escape.

Just reality.

Reality was the worst game ever made.

Bad graphics.

Terrible mechanics.

No save function.

So Vorlim made a decision.

If the world had no computers,

he would build them himself.

He gathered the smartest minds.

Engineers.

Scholars.

Nobles with oversized egos and undersized achievements.

He paid them well.

Extremely well.

Money motivated genius faster than inspiration ever could.

They didn't know what they were building.

Vorlim barely explained.

"Make this," he said, showing them designs that appeared in his mind like old memories.

Metal.

Glass.

Circuits.

Logic.

Progress crawled forward.

Slow.

Painful.

Primitive.

But inevitable.

Years passed.

And finally—

It worked.

One machine.

One computer.

It was enormous.

Expensive.

Fragile.

Beautiful.

Vorlim stared at the screen.

His hands trembled.

He pressed a button.

It responded.

He almost cried.

But there was another problem.

Only he could afford it.

Which meant no multiplayer.

No competition.

No chaos.

No fun.

Vorlim leaned back.

"This is useless," he said.

A game nobody else played was just loneliness with extra steps.

So he created a new goal.

Everyone would have one.

He would spread them across the world.

He would make gaming inevitable.

He would make it unavoidable.

He would make it cool.

To do that,

he needed influence.

And nothing influenced people more than adventurers.

Heroes.

Idiots with swords.

Celebrities of violence.

So Vorlim did the unthinkable.

He registered as an adventurer.

The Adventurer Guild smelled like sweat, alcohol, and poor decision-making.

A woman at the desk looked up.

"Name."

Vorlim thought for a moment.

"…Vorlim."

"Class?"

He paused.

He didn't remember.

"…Beginner."

She handed him a badge.

Just like that.

A god became a beginner.

It felt insulting.

He accepted it anyway.

That was when he remembered.

Not slowly.

Not gently.

Instantly.

Like a door opening in his mind.

He was not just Vorlim.

He was God.

He had always been God.

He had simply chosen to forget.

Vorlim blinked.

"Oh," he said.

That changed things.

He went to heaven.

Not physically.

Not symbolically.

Just… stepped there.

He lay on nothing.

Above everything.

And thought.

He contacted the strongest adventurer in the world.

A man.

Tall.

Dramatic.

Ridiculous.

His name was:

Jo Taro Jojo no Susuke.

Of course it was.

Vorlim spoke directly into his mind.

"Advertise this."

Jo Taro froze.

"…What?"

"A fighting machine."

Below him, a massive arcade machine appeared.

Metal.

Glorious.

Inevitable.

Two players.

One winner.

One loser.

Violence.

Perfect.

"People will love it," Vorlim said.

Jo Taro stared at it.

"…This is bizarre."

"Yes," Vorlim agreed.

"That's why it will work."

Vorlim lay back in heaven.

Finally.

Peace.

Finally.

Games.

Finally.

Happiness.

He closed his eyes.

Smiled slightly.

And said:

"Now I can finally play. Street fighters"

He paused.

Opened one eye.

"…I still don't have a girlfriend."

Silence.

Even as God,

some problems remained unsolved.
