'Doing something is better than doing nothing' that bullshit ends up going two ways one was it worked out the second is your in a bigger shit than you previously have been.
The whole fortress was chaotic around Racine, The whole place was in complete disarray inside the fortress and multiple walls. The outer wall was already gone, people that are supposed to be fighting outside to protect against the flying monsters hid inside, Those who was supposed to be protecting the walls poured into the very core too.
People abandoned their positions and grouped themselves by their rajas, because of that monsters had already settled into the very center without any struggle, The traps was left unused and Racine was attempted to be grabbed multiple times if not for Carlyn and Fabian helping him multiple times.
The awakeners grouped themselves into their rajas and the rajas grouped themselves once more because of that it scattered into three groups. Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao they don't exactly attack each other however they don't help each other either all the groups had their focus on surviving and making sure their people and love ones survive too.
'It had only been hours into the fight and everything went downhill' Racine thought to himself as he sat into the infirmary room the three groups hid themselves into. It was large like how it was designed to be big enough to fit ten of thousands yet it was not used how it supposed to be.
'The infirmary was supposed to serve as the bunker for the tenth stage' Racine remembered the things his brother had discussed to the others.
Racine sat down to one of the infirmary room's bed and watched people talk amongst themselves. the groups had been sending six people each to defend the entrance from the monsters outside from making their way in.
It doesn't have any windows and only had one large entrance making it easier for defending against large amount of monsters and if they really got desperate one of the awakeners could just create an exit that is if the monster weren't the first one able to create a hole to get inside first.
'What are even supposed to do?' Racine thought to himself eventually Carlyn approached Racine and said, "We plan to hold on until your brother returns"
Racine blinked, "What makes you think he will return?"
Carlyn blinked back, "I mean.. You're here" Carlyn scratched his head, "Also all of us just decided it would be better to just stay still we got multiple awakeners fixing the and strengthening the walls few awakeners was placed in the entrance too. We can hold on for a while"
Racine lowered his head, "I thought this would be easier. Specially at the beginning" Racine glanced towards Elesio who was by the corner, "Weren't the ladies my brothers bring around already handling those things earlier?!"
Carlyn shrugged his shoulders, "You know how it is? It's like the fire drills we got on school on the drills we got to go on straight line but in real scenario everyone would be in shit" Carlyn sat next to Racine, "I asked around and Adriel seem to be dragging them around on fighting monsters together but was that really fighting together if your brother really just beat monsters up and let them get the last hit?"
Racine placed a hand on his head, "This is insane.. Ugh I don't want to think about anything right now. My whole body hurts all over"
"Must have sucked" Carlyn spoke his eyes placed on his feet, "If everything goes downhill. Fabian will help us out"
Racine looked around the infirmary his eyes then land on Bob and he said, "What's the plan make some kind of bed fort and make it fly? I honestly don't get how Bob's power work"
He then froze when he realized Carlyn's silence, "Wait for real? How would that even fly?"
