Adriel jump straight into the inside of the monster with no hesitation and greeted him there was not soft insides but instead was lumpy spots and pulsing walls covered with teeth.
The whole place was similar to a meat grinder with the walls pressing into each other in every beat if not for Adriel's Strength Stats he would have been in whole lot of trouble, however that stats might have helped him with the teeth from piercing him but it didn't stop the walls from tightening around Adriel from time to time.
Still Adriel used his kampilan to pin himself into one of the lumps, Adriel grimaced at the slimy texture that coated his whole body. ironically like a fishbone stuck inside a fish monster's mouth he continued to cling into the lump no matter what.
The monster thrashed wildly and Adriel was thrown left and right trying its best to take him out of it's mouth it must have swam down taking in some water from its 'mouth' to wash Adriel away but like a cockroach Adriel endured instead he twist his kampilan deeper into the flesh and activated the kampilan's status effect [Traitor]
The Kampilan shone a golden hue and like a worm it wiggle itself more into the flesh, pus coming out of the flesh letting out a disgusting scent of a dead fish adriel's eyebrow twitched as a few drops splattered into his mouth and eyes.
In deep frustration when the walls closed into him again, he slammed his empty hand into the wall crushing the teeth and causing the wall to swell and bruise. the whole force sending some vibration to the monster's insides.
Adriel's whole body lifted upwards and this time he gripped the hilt of the kampilan tightly, his whole body being tossed around like a rollercoaster ride.
Pus dripped down more and more from the spot where he stabbed his kampilan into the [Traitor] An effect that the kampilan had that absorbs the being it wound and simultaneously heal it's wielder was proving itself useful and with how the monster was going wilder and wilder.

The Seven Ladies along with the other awakeners situated upstairs was people that Adriel himself picked up and fed countless powerup to boost their stats, They were his allies that survived with him for years.
Their skills was straightforward and strong they are surely capable on crushing the flying monsters who don't even have any fur, scales and armors.
Historical weapons even kitchen knifes could pierce thru those monsters made of lump of flesh, the awakened was efficiently told their positions, what they are supposed to do and how to do it.
Like an adult who gave a gun to a child, taught it how to shoot, how to reload, how to aim, how to protect itself from impact, the adult even gave it a gear and all it needs to do is shoot to a moving target to an insect, a small insect.
A cockroach.
And it would work, the child would be able to shoot.

Tendrils made out of water pierced into the flesh of what supposed to be avians easily, the water tendrils then formed itself into a large hand that swatted countless monsters.
The same goes for the vines that tangled monsters down.
The awakeners by the walls boiled the large cauldrons placed in the side of the walls and poured it over to those werebeast who tried to climb up.
It was all fine until.

One cockroach might work but what about a swarm of them, A swarm that dye walls black, it maybe might still work however what about a cockroach that flew into the air straight at you.
And its not just one but a swarm all of them.
Surely that child would ran away in fear.

Racine watched everything with deep worry inside the very core of the fortress his whole body body trembling while he was healing yet another awakener that was dragged inside by Carlyn who had been running around grabbing the wounded and piling them up one by one.
Okarina was with him stitching up the awakened who got their bodies tore apart before handing them to Racine.
"Hold still!!" Max shouted to a poor young man who was struggling free from his and Nova's hold the two of them pinned him down while Redford messily saw into his left thigh.
Earlier the poor young man got his limbs severed when a fleshy avian clawed him from above Carlyn just grabbed whatever he could grab and tossed the young man to be healed and so Okarina sewed the body and Racine healed him. With so much blood covering him all over the two of them didn't notice that the foot they put back was much more darker skin than it supposed to be.
"AHHHHHHH!!" Blood splattered around as the thigh finally came loose rolling over from the table the young man was pinned into into the floor where another awakener was being sewn by Okarina who was missing a leg.
Racine staggered as the fortress vibrated again and he could smell the scent of barbecue outside along with the stench of burnt hair.
"Just what is happening?!" Racine staggered and collapsed to the floor an intense wave of pain covered his whole body from head to toe a phantom pain he couldn't comprehend but had always felt time to time.
"My dear Knight!! Join me!!" Okarina said to Racine with a smile but her eyes was clearly showing exhaustion.
The two of them wasn't even supposed to be helping yet. Adriel had put them into the very center of the fortress to only be on stand by along with the other walls however the people being wounded was just way too many for the other awakeners to do.
After Adriel was away the whole place was been in chaos, the people said to be on stand by moved and begun to help along unable to stand still and the positions crumbled just like that.
Even Elesio went away to go to her family, the others too. it was so confusing everyone was just doing whatever they want to do just like how Racine feared it.
