Chapter 5 - chapter 5: I'm not Wyatt

"Did humans stop using their ears or something?" Wyatt said to himself as he scanned the surroundings.

He had no idea where he was or why he was in a child's body, the last thing he remembered was darkness and suddenly he was now in a burnt field fighting a Nun.

"Did I do this?" He asked himself again, then finally looked towards sister Lucy. "Hey, you still haven't answered my question. What happened?"

Sister Lucy's jaws were tightened the whole time, the aura coming from Wyatt was one of pure horror, something told her that if she even as much as breathed wrong then she would die before she knew what was happening. 'What have I gotten myself into? Why did I even try to kill that bastard, I should have just ran.'

"I'm running low on patience." Wyatt's voice went dangerously low, "for the last time, what happened here?" An annoyed look plastered on his face.

"What happened?" Sister Lucy repeated, hope flickering across her eyes. 'He doesn't remember what happened? Then there's still hope, I can still make it out alive.'

"W-Well, you see, Wyatt, you suddenly lost control and destroyed the whole orphanage, even killed everyone. You went on a rampage and I tried to stop you from hurting yourself or anyone else, thank God you came to your senses, who knows what would have happened if I hadn't stopped you in time." She explained, quickly desperately hoping he bought her lies.

"I see." Wyatt scratched his ear with his finger, his expression visibly relaxed , causing sister Lucy to breath a sigh of relief.

Wyatt flicked his finger at sister Lucy, a small fire ball the size of a die flew from his hand right into her side and exploded.

Sister Lucy fell to the ground in pain, shocked that he attacked her, she struggled to look up at him and her breath ceased.

"You think I'm an idiot?" His expression sang danger, moving forward towards sister Lucy in pure anger. "You really tried to lie to me?"

Sister Lucy groaned on the floor, both of her sides were heavily injured and she was losing a lot of blood.

"Screw this" she shouted and stretched one of her hands. An invisible strike was sent towards Wyatt but he dodged it with ease and kept moving forward, slowly.

Sister Lucy forced herself up and closed her eyes, readying the strongest barrier she could.

Wyatt watched her do all this while he slowly walked forward, he was curious at how strong humans had become since he last saw them.

"I can't tell who's power you're using, it's on the tip of my tongue." He tried his best to remember but he was drawing blanks.

It was finally ready, sister Lucy huffed as she raised her head. "Heaven's gate." She murmured.

"Heaven's gate? Please." Wyatt scoffed he was directly in front of sister Lucy now and he could feel it, the barrier between them was the strongest one she had produced so far, but the question of whether or not it could stop him still remained.

"Heaven's gate is my strongest barrier, no matter who or what you are even you cannot break it." Sister Lucy said with ragged breaths, she was determined to make it out of here alive.

Wyatt raised a brow, clearly amused. Then without warning he struck the barrier with amazing speed.

A loud bang. But the barrier remained standing.

"What?" Wyatt was in genuine shock, the barrier shouldn't have stood a change against him. "Why...am I so weak?" His expression shifted. Worry.

What he didn't know was that someone else was also worried.

'one Punch, it took one punch.' Sweat covered Sister Lucy's face. Heaven's gate wasn't just her strongest barrier, it was her trickiest. No matter how much damage was dealt, the attacker couldn't see or feel the damage, only her who casted it could feel and see it. And from what she saw, Wyatt had almost completely destroyed the barrier in one attack, any other attack now no matter how weak would destroy the barrier.

'Curse this child!' She shouted in her head. 'You will not kill me too!' The only thing she could do was pray and hope.

Wyatt on the other hand was still in shock, looking at his own hands.

"What exactly is happening?" That question seemed to have sparked something, as small fragments of memories started rushing into his head, but they weren't him memories, they belonged to...the owner of this body.

"Ah." He suddenly understood what was going on. He was in someone else's body, and that person was scared of this woman in front of him.

"You fear her," He said with a twisted smile, talking to no one in particular. "well then this should teach you to fear me instead."

He raised his hands, no longer wanting to play any games with the human in front of him.

Sister Lucy gulped. The whole time he was standing there looking Into the atmosphere, she had been channeling all the energy she had left into the barrier slowly repairing it before Wyatt knew that it was broken.

'The barrier should be able to handle an attack now, and he's not stupid enough to do the same thing twice.' she assured herself.

But her heart sank at what he did next.

Around them, arrows made of pure red flames surrounded the sky, covering every possible angle.

"Hey, human. You can only shield one place at a time, right? The scratch mark on your waist gave it away."

Sister Lucy widened her eyes, she had been out classed in everyway, strength, speed, power and now tactics, it was over for her.

Wyatt dropped his hands and all the arrows rained down at the same time, each going after their sole target, sister Lucy.

With a shout she reinforced her shield even more and began twisting her body, aiming to block as many arrows as she could. But it was no use, every ever so often she would feel the piercing sensation which was always a burning sensation, it truly was over for her.

All the arrows had been launched and the night sky was cleared again. Wyatt stood with a casual smile as he watched his opponent.

Sister Lucy was staggering, over 9 arrows were lodged in her body, each one burning steadily. But she still stood.

"If...if.. I'm... going...down" she murmured trying to force the words out, "THEN SO ARE YOU!" She screamed at the top of her lungs and raised both hands in the air.

"ABBADONNNN!" A large, now visible yet ethereal spear was above her head, made of pure energy. She flung her entire body forward and the spear didn't just move, it traveled.

Impaling Wyatt's body immediately sending him flying back.

"Even...you can't...survive...that" she smiled as she fell to the floor, she had lost too much blood. Her body felt numb yet she was overjoyed, she took that bastard child with her to the grave.

She could die in peace.

"Abbadon! That's who's power it was." Wyatt's laughter rang out. "And her I almost thought it was Aker's"

Wyatt walked forward as if he wasn't missing half of his upper body, his right side was completely gone, yet he was alive.

"How..." Sister Lucy's eyes teared up. "How...are you...still...alive!"

"Oh please, even in my weakest state, it would take a hundred of you to kill me." He replied her, his right side began to heal. But even he though he looked fine, that attack hurt him more than he would have liked to admit.

Sister Lucy stared to cry, it truly was over. She couldn't even kill him with her strongest attack.

Wyatt watched her cry while his body healed, and the moment he finished healing, he began to walk away, she would die on her own eventually.

Out of no where, sister Lucy in her own pool of blood began to laugh, a hysterical laugh of someone who had nothing to lose.

"You must be wondering..." She croaked, "Why I've treated you bad all these years."

"Actually," Wyatt turned to her, "I don't care." And continued walking.

"Wyatt! Wait." She called out. But to her surprise he was no longer where he was walking, he was right above her body.

"I don't know if that's how all humans are or you're just dumb, but you should have known by now." He raised his foot, "I'm not Wyatt."

Her head shattered across the earth, he has crushed her head in one simple stomp, then cleaned his bloodied foot on her garments before walking a bit forward.

"Now, what do I do?" He asked himself, "If I'm here, then something definitely isn't right, and if I get attacked in this weakened state I'm done for."

"First things first." He finally decided, "I have to find some clothes and get out of here, walking around naked is sure to draw attention."

He rummaged through the corpses and debris looking for anything wearable, but they were either too damaged or completely burned.

"Best get moving." He sighed tiredly, but suddenly his right hand started flaring on it's own.

"Well, look who's awake." He smiled faintly and fell to the ground, unconscious.
