"Oh, alright…" Ezra mumbles as he walks closer to Kaelis.
Well, closer to the fountain where Kaelis was sitting.
The closer he got, the more mesmerized he became by the sight in front of him.
The fountain looked beautiful from the window.
Up close, it was something else entirely.
The stars beneath the water shimmered softly with every ripple.
Silver.
Gold.
Blue.
They moved like tiny living things trapped beneath the surface.
And the reflection from the water danced across Kaelis' silver hair.
Making it glow.
It was honestly beautiful.
Almost unfairly so.
'The light is making my head hurt even more though.' Ezra thought as he tried to swallow down another wave of nausea.
Unfortunately, the stars were significantly prettier than they were helpful.
Carefully, he lowers himself onto the stone edge beside Kaelis.
He immediately tries to make himself comfortable.
