The City Lord thought for several seconds.
The situation had become much clearer now, even though Sekhmet had deliberately left large holes in the story.
A powerful Dawn House exists in the Middle Domain. Eyra had once been its heir. He had been banished.
Another brother had taken the inheritance.
Now the son of that brother had come to Slik City because the old Dawn House master wanted Sekhmet brought back or at least invited to meet him.
Instead of remaining neutral, Mihos had interfered with Sekhmet's conflict against Iron House.
Then the entire situation had exploded.
The City Lord looked at Sekhmet.
"So your cousin lost."
Sekhmet's mouth curved slightly.
"Yes."
The City Lord noticed the satisfaction in that one word.
"You enjoyed saying that."
"A little."
"What happened to him?"
"He left."
"With the old God?"
Sekhmet paused for the smallest moment.
The City Lord noticed.
Sekhmet answered, "Not together when I last saw them."
