Chapter 64 - Before the Decisive Battle of the Third Singularity

"Damn it! Today I really got a taste of what a forced night march feels like—we didn't come to the wrong place, did we?"

Looking at the small island not far away, Drake first cheered excitedly, then looked at Takumi somewhat uncertainly.

"Can't be wrong, it's definitely here!"

Takumi shook his head, saying decisively.

Unlike before when he could only give a vague direction, this time it was a true [Revelation]. The route and the appearance of the destination were all quite clear and complete.

Playing with a walkthrough guide, if Takumi still got it wrong, he might as well just find a piece of tofu and bash his head in.

"That's good! Lads, prepare to dock. Time waits for no one. After this battle is over, you'll have plenty of time to rest!"

Drake turned to encourage the exhausted ordinary pirate crew.

The pirates responded listlessly.

Takumi, Drake, and the others were either Servants or had physical fitness comparable to Servants. Staying up a little late and getting tired wouldn't exhaust them too much.

But the pirates were suffering a bit. They hadn't really stopped all day, hadn't slept well, and basically all looked weak and feeble.

Under the pirates' control, the Golden Wild Hunt began to approach the island ahead.

Takumi looked somewhat nervously at the gradually clearing island coast. He had already summoned his flag and held it in his hand.

Although the [Revelation] gave a slightly futuristic scene, Takumi wasn't sure how far into the future "slightly" meant.

If they arrived late and David and Atalanta were already taken out by Jason and the others, then they would be screwed.

With a mix of anxiety and apprehension, the Golden Wild Hunt finally reached the offshore area and temporarily docked there.

"The next battle is on the island; my crew members probably won't be able to interfere... Do you have any plans for who should go onto the island? Mimi (Takumi)?"

Drake glanced at the seemingly calm island and asked.

Takumi took a deep breath, his tone slightly low:

"Everyone. Except for ordinary people, everyone goes onto the island."

Euryale frowned, somewhat confused.

"Me too?"

"Yes, you too."

Takumi looked at Euryale and nodded affirmatively.

"But I remember you emphasized several times, Master, that as long as I touch the [Ark of the Covenant], it will directly cause the Singularity to collapse, right?"

Seeing that Takumi indeed intended to bring her along, Euryale became even more puzzled.

"No matter how you think about it, if I stay on the ship, you guys can fight better, right?"

"Besides, Artemis also has a Noble Phantasm with a special attack against males. It shouldn't make a difference whether I'm there or not."

Artemis, hearing herself mentioned, also cutely shook the bow in her hand and said with a smile:

"That's right! Although the power of my Noble Phantasm isn't great, it does have a special attack against males!"

Facing Euryale's confusion, Takumi just pointed diagonally upwards towards the island.

Everyone looked up.

Only then did they discover Hector standing brazenly on a high point of the island. Knowing he was discovered, he even waved at everyone looking at him.

Everyone withdrew their gazes, understanding why Takumi said that.

"As you can see, no chance."

Takumi shook his head bitterly.

"Our actions were seen through. As long as we dare to leave Euryale on the ship, Hector will dare to run onto the ship and kidnap Euryale. By then, we'll be even more passive."

Hearing this, Orion thought for a moment and gasped.

"Hiss! This is more than just being seen through; this is checkmate!"

If it were earlier, Takumi and the others could have settled Euryale on the island where Artemis and Orion stayed before.

But because they had to find David and the Ark, they didn't rest on that island this time. Instead, after traveling for a while, they made do with sleeping on the ship. When Takumi received the [Revelation], the Golden Wild Hunt was even still on the open sea.

Takumi and the others thought of this key point at that time. They intended to find an island to drop Euryale off first, but although the sea area was large, islands were few and far between. Along the way, they didn't even see the shadow of an island.

So, the plan of placing Euryale on an island in advance naturally ended without a result.

And they couldn't just throw Euryale into the sea...

Takumi, who thought he could find David and Atalanta faster than Jason with the help of [Revelation] and that bringing Euryale meant one more person and more strength, ultimately underestimated the heroes of the world.

And also underestimated the changes caused by his own arrival.

"I'm afraid the only path we can take now is to bring Eury-chan onto the island, or..."

Orion looked at Euryale, hesitating to speak.

"Dar~ling~, when did you start calling Eury so intimately? Even I don't have such an affectionate nickname..."

Before Orion could finish the second half of his sentence, Artemis strangled Orion by the neck again, the highlights in her bright eyes disappearing at some point.

"Yamero! It's clearly such a heavy topic; Artemis, don't ruin the atmosphere—"

"Cheating is forbidden, even if Eury is very beautiful..."

Artemis kneaded Orion's plush body, staring blankly at the various changes in Orion's shape with hollow eyes.

Wait, this seems to be... heavy in another sense!!!

Listening to Artemis's somewhat distorted voice, Orion was sweating profusely.

The group of men silently watched the interaction between the two, feeling no envy, only sympathy.

I feel like finding such a girlfriend would ruin my whole life...

After the interruption between the two, the atmosphere became a bit livelier, but the key problem still existed.

"Or rather, just let me exit (die), right?"

Euryale took over Orion's words, saying somewhat self-deprecatingly.

Takumi looked at Euryale silently.

This thought, which flashed through his mind, was inevitably placed in front of everyone, confusing Takumi's brain for a moment.

Everyone was similar to Takumi. Even Artemis and Orion, who were "messing around" on the side, paused their actions and watched all this silently.

They were the last to join this team, not even for a day, so naturally, they were the least qualified to make this decision.

Looking at the silent crowd, Euryale had a good mindset instead.

Perhaps she had this premonition ever since she learned of her importance from Takumi.

So when it really came to this moment, she felt relieved instead.

"Then do it. Since there is the most suitable method, why not do it?"

Euryale looked gently at Asterios, Takumi, and Drake, opening her arms as if waiting for the execution to arrive.
