Loki received stares from around as he was fighting for the food with Will who ate the bread that is on Loki's hand. He stop fighting and turned into a lizard.
Will:"What's wrong Loki, you scared?"
Loki:"No, its just...I don't want to draw to much attention to the party,"
Al:"I guess is noticeable with his right horn standing out,"
Raye:"Alright then, let's get going,"
Loki climbed onto Raye's clothing and hid inside it. The party then continue walking the bustling streets and spotted someone familiar.
Raye:"Purrine, is that you?"
Purrine:"Oh Raye, fancy seeing you here, I guess you conquer the dungeon,"
Al:"Sure did,"
Raye:"What are you doing now?"
Purrine:"Oh, I'm just heading to the guild to clear some documents,"
Raye:"Talking about guild, I nearly forgot about our reward!"
Al:"Can't forget to claim our cash,"
Will:"Let's go to a butcher first,"
Purrine:"Butcher? I would be surprised by what beast you caught in the deeper part of the dungeon,"
They went to the butcher shop and requested the butcher to butcher a few beasts they caught in the dungeon. Butchering usually cost by the beast they are butchering but this butcher was kind enough to do it for free. He is a dwarf and dwarfs are known for their immense strength.
"I would be delighted to butcher beasts from the deeper part of the dungeon,"
"Thank you,"
Will then pulled out few giant scorpions and the butcher was shocked.
"Giant scorpions from the dune...this wouldn't be hard for me,"
Will then pulled out few griffins, few hyenas and a small species behemoth out of his shadow. The butcher is so shocked that he falls back and tears rolled out from his eyes.
Raye:"You alright?"
"Yea, it's just...I never seen anything like this in my life, I'm honored to even butcher this beasts, please, let me do it,"
Raye:"Sure,"
"It will take some times, even days,"
Raye:"Days? Sorry, but we can't stay here for that long,"
"Then let me butcher the behemoth,"
Will:"...,Alright then,"
They left the butcher shop and headed for the guild and went in to claim their prize. There are few guild members working at the counter for this city is quite huge. Raye and the party went ahead and claimed their prize.
"Here you go Mr Raye, 50 Sahhara gold coins for conquering the dungeon,"
Will:"I heard the guild give rewards for beast's meat,"
"We buy beast meat from adventurer,"
Will:"Well then,"
Will pulled out a few hyenas's and griffins's meat that have been chopped earlier from his shadow and dropped it on the ground. Everyone was shocked and Loki transformed into a human and grabbed the hyenas meat and eat it.
Loki:"So you DO have beast meat,"
Will:"Hey, don't eat it, we need cash,"
"Sorry, let me call the guild master to decide this,"
Will:"Take your time,"
At the meantime, Raye went to Purrine to have a chat.
Raye:"So, what are those documents for?"
Purrine:"This are the documents for me to quit as an adventurer,"
Al:"Why so?"
Purrine:"Since my party members is all dead except me, I thought I quit being an adventurer and return to my hometown,"
Raye:"Being an adventurer pressure you a lot huh,"
Purrine:"I already found a job in my hometown and after sorting out this documents I will be returning back tomorrow,"
Will and Loki were fighting at the background as the guild lady finally returned with the guild master.
"Alright, let's see how many beast meat you got,....., Unfortunately, we don't buy hyenas meat but griffins meat we do buy for certain body part of it like the beaks and their talons, for their meat we will buy a portion of it for this guild don't have that much money,"
Will:"It's settle then,"
"Give us some time and calculate the amount,"
Loki ate up the hyenas meat and is fulled. Everyone in the guild is looking at them, some were envying them and some were terrified of them. The guild master returned and carried 10 bag fulled of Sahhara gold coins.
"We will buy a portion of the griffin's meat and take 5 of their beaks and talons each, with roughly comes out to 1000 Sahhara gold coins,"
Al:"1000! that amount of money covers up our living expenses for about three months!"
Will:"Thank you,"
"No, thank you, we can make durable and strong daggers with griffins talon and beak,"
Purrine:"I'm done with the documents, let's go,"
