Raye is exhausted after the battle against the behemoth. Will take a closer look at the behemoth and realized that it is still alive, just knocked out. Will decided to use his shadow and devour the behemoth.
"You did well Raye,"
"I didn't kill it though did I?"
"Still, you are able to knock it out,"
"You said this is just a small species of it, if we were to meet a large one..."
"Quit whining, you defeated it didn't you,"
"I guess so,"
"Well then, lets get going,"
They then walked past the arena to the middle, avoiding every traps. The middle of the arena is a small platform that has a small button on it. Will clicked it with his shadow and the platform suddenly opened, making Will dropped inside it. Raye and Al looked below and jumped down the hole.
They felled into a chamber. It is dark, Al decided to cast a light spell to brighten the area.
Raye:"Wait, you can do that?"
Al:"Ye, you just never asked,"
They walked through the path which leads to a larger room of the chamber. There is it, a basilisk sitting right over there.
Basilisk, a large serpent, also quite the rare creature with kraken and behemoth. It is said that basilisk, upon gazing at his eye, you will be petrified or worse, death, its breath is so poisonous that the surrounding area would rot.
Will:"..., Raye, you got this,"
Raye:"What? I just fought a behemoth, give me a break!"
Will:"Exactly, you knocked out a behemoth, this proved that basilisk is not even your opponent,"
Raye:"That was just.... I was able to think of something that time and knocked out that behemoth,"
Will:"And you can do that again, fine I will give you a tips, don't look into its eye,"
Raye:"That's just fact everyone know about basilisk,"
Will:"Really? I thought basilisk were rare creature as kraken and behemoth, up until now I have never met mythical beast before, the dungeon sure is a fabulous, giving me the chance to do so..."
Raye:"Whatever,"
Will then casted shadow around Raye's eye, covering his sight.
Will:"Now you can fight without worrying about making eye contact,"
Raye:"How will I know where I'm going?"
Will:"Use your magic energy flow,"
Raye sighed and raised his sword at his chest level. He then uses his magic energy flow to try ti picture the surrounding but failed. Raye wasn't shocked about this, after all he used up most of his magic energy fighting the behemoth.
Raye:"Damn it, looks like I have to rely on instinct,"
Raye moved forward little by little. Will and Al hides behind the wall to the basilisk.
Al:"You think this is a great idea?"
Will:"If you're going to train someone, put them in the a dangerous situation, that's where they learned on how to survive,"
Al:"Isn't that to extreme?"
Will:"..., we are a team right? Believe in your teammate is the one thing about teamwork, even if he failed, he still got you, our party's priest,"
Al:"I guess you are right, let just hope he is able to defeat that basilisk,"
Raye swings his sword randomly, hoping to strike something. The basilisk looked confused and decided to breathe out poisonous gas. The gas slowly spreads and spreads, Raye able to smell it, realized that he needs to kill the basilisk before the whole chamber is filled with its gas. Raye then raised his sword and uses EXCALIBUR but strike nothing. The basilisk tries to attack Raye but Raye able to feel the basilisk's presence, dodges it. He then uses THUNDER STRIKE which actually did hit the basilisk but just the rear of it. The basilisk tried to look into Raye's eye but his eyes is covered by shadow. The basilisk the tried to trap Raye with his tail but Raye managed to dodge it and jumped far away from the basilisk.
Raye:"Darn it,"
He then took a deep breath and picture the situation based on his memory. A vivid imagination of the basilisk's room, and he made a guess of the basilisk size. He then entered the room again and jumped against the wall. Judging by the basilisk's presence or the magic flow in the basilisk, he is able to make a judgment of the basilisk location and landed a full strike EXCALIBUR on the basilisk's tail. The basilisk can't scream, instead it released more poisonous gas from its mouth. Raye hold his breath and bounce against the wall. This time, the basilisk presence is all around. Knowing that he is trapped. Raye then poke the basilisk tough scale with his strength he kept from that behemoth battle, and ran towards the basilisk's head. This creates a huge wound on the basilisk, making the basilisk stop moving for a while. Seizing his chance, he aim for the head by his judgement and landed EXCALIBUR, slicing off the basilisk's head. Will then emerged from the basilisk's shadow, congratulating Raye on his victory.
"Well done, I told you that you were able to do so,"
"Alright, this victory is really me alone,"
"Sure,"
A magic circle then appeared at the end of the room.
Raye:"Wait..., is this the last level of the dungeon, did we conquer it?"
Will:"I think we did,"
Raye:"We... did it..."
As Raye is about to celebrate, Al grabbed them and head for the magic circle.
Al:"Enough talking, let's go, the poisonous gas is filling up the room,"
The magic circle then teleported them back to the checkpoint that lead back out to the dune.
The dungeon worker then looked at them and said:
"You guys,... actually conquered the dungeon..."
Everyone inside the checkpoint room are in shocked.
"No way, someone actually conquered a dungeon,"
"I can't believed that,"
"Would this dungeon create a new level?"
Raye suddenly spat out blood on the ground, shocking everyone in the room.
Raye:"..., must have been the basilisk's poisonous gas,..."
Al rushed and healed Raye. A dungeon worker give Raye a potion that remove toxin inside the body.

After a while, everyone in the checkpoint started celebrating their success on conquering the dungeon. Raye and the party have told the dungeon accountant about everything they saw in the deeper part of the dungeon. Everyone had been informed about the dungeon being conquered. They are closing the dungeon after tonight for a week, since the dungeon would regenerate new levels by itself and being inside the dungeon would be messing it which is not advisable.
"Congrats on your success of conquering this dungeon, you may claim your rewards and the Glauos city in the dune,"
Raye:"Thank you,"
They left the dungeon and returned back to the surface. It is now night out at the dungeon.
Raye:"We conquer the dungeon..."
Al:"Lets drink some wine to celebrate,"
Raye:"Nice try, but I won't let you be drunk especially in the dune,"
Al:"Damn it..."
Will:"The dungeon,... truly interesting,"
Raye:"Anyway.... don't you guys think is exceptionally cold right now,"
Al:"Ye..."
They were all shivering. They have forgotten about how cold is the dune at night.
Will then casted his shadow and covered all of them in it. The shadow then slides down and Al and Raye are wearing their dune clothing.
Raye:"I say we call it a day,"
Al:"Sure, I haven't gotten a sleep since the visit in that dungeon's city,"
Raye:"Alright, lets rest after that long heck of a day,"
