Slav went up to the three rocks and examined them one by one. He did that over and over again several times in a row. So it was clear that he couldn't find whatever it was that he was looking for from the rocks.
This sight made Skarg panic a little bit. He was worried that Slv wouldn't be able to make the right choice and would doom them.
But Slav wasn't worried. He was only a little bit confused.
He was confused because, after using the Fortune Seeker for so long, no rock stood out to him. It was something else that stood out to him.
Since he trusted his guts, so to speak, he decided to go along with what he could sense. So he went over to the drawings on the wall and put his hand on the mark of a hand that had been placed in a hidden corner.
When he did that, nothing happened. But he continued to maintain the posture for several more seconds.
