Upon hearing this, Mick panicked, his face turning pale as he hastily stepped forward to block the Inspector:
"Mr. Inspector, please do not listen to his nonsense. This kid is just a corpse transporter in the city who joined the Police Department less than a week ago. He doesn't even know all his letters, what the hell does he know... ah no, he understands nothing! He's just making things up!"
"I know how to read," Alex retorted, his unwavering gaze sweeping past Mick. "I am not speaking nonsense either. Based on our investigation, the biggest suspect right now is the victim himself."
The people standing at the door shook their heads in a commotion, whispering and discussing as if Alex was truly speaking pure nonsense and insulting the deceased.
The Inspector paid no attention to their chatter. He raised his hand to signal for silence. "The murderer is the victim?" He confirmed once again, a spark of interest flashing in his eyes.
