Uvogin saw Ronin's movement clearly, but his body couldn't keep up.

Ronin narrowed his eyes. Cloaked in lightning, he retreated rapidly. As he moved back, his shirt suddenly ripped open across his chest.
It was a cutting wave released from Uvogin's hand during his turn.

Ronin glanced down. The fabric was torn, but his skin was untouched.
The Lightning Style Chakra Mode didn't just boost his offense; it stimulated his cells to harden his body, granting immense defense.
It was, after all, known as the "Ultimate Lightning Armor."
Uvogin's desperate improvisation reminded Ronin of Gon.

The One-Finger Nukite thrust toward Uvogin's heart without hesitation.
Uvogin opened his mouth and roared.
It was like a gong being struck right next to Ronin's ear.
A massive sonic shockwave blasted toward him. Simultaneously, Uvogin slashed downward with his aura blade.
The sonic wave washed over Ronin, but it had zero effect.
Old trick.
Uvogin had tried this on the airship. It failed then, and trying it again now was delusional.
Ronin simply diverted Chakra to his ears to dampen the sound.
However, Uvogin's predictive slash collided with Ronin's attacking arm. It didn't stop the thrust, but it deflected the trajectory slightly.
Instead of the heart, the One-Finger Nukite pierced Uvogin's side.
It tore through flesh and bone, ripping a chunk of his torso clean off.
Ronin stopped behind Uvogin, flicking the blood and gore from his finger.
He turned around, his gaze cold and indifferent.
Uvogin looked down at the gaping wound in his side. Intestines were spilling out.
His face was ashen.
He couldn't see a path to victory anymore.
His improvised Emission/Transmutation combo gave him a chance to hit Ronin, but the power was pathetic compared to his Big Bang Impact. It barely scratched Ronin's defense.
If this continued, he would die.
