ANNALISE'S POINT OF VIEW
I woke up with a dull ache in my head, nothing really painful just a pain that is almost not present. I opened my eyes slowly scared of what I will see.
I wished I had not open my eyes because there he was sitting at the edge of my bed.
"About time." He said, I sat up quickly, he stared at me intensely for a moment, something about his stares makes me want to run and hide, there is something wicked and sinister about his stares.
"You look a lot like her Annalise." He said wistfully as if remembering something or someone.
"Like who?" I asked confused and scared about him being this close to me.
"No one." He replied, the look was completely wiped off his face, his usual blank one remained.
"We have a wedding to attend… our wedding." Alpha Zyn said and extended his hand to me probably expecting me to take his hand, I glared at him.
"You killed my parents and my sister there is no way in hell that I will marry you!" I yelled.
"Oh you will, you will." He said with a confident smile on his lips.
"I will not! I'll never!" I yelled again glaring at him in anger.
"Let me show you something and then I'll show you something else that will definitely change your mind." He said and brought a small knife out of his pocket and like the psycho I know he is he made a cut on his palm.
"Ouch!" I yelled in pain as I felt the pain of my flesh being cut, I looked at my palm and noticed a deep cut on it, the cut was identical to the one on Alpha Zyn's hand.
I gasped, what has he done to me?!
"You are stuck with me forever Annalise." He smiled.
"You are linked to me that means you can never actually run away from here because I will find you every time." He said, I felt myself starting to freak out but then a thought popped into my mind.
I picked the knife up from the bed and brought it to my neck.
"If we are linked then that means I can end your reign of terror by killing my self." I said and for a second I saw the almighty Alpha Zyn go pale in fear and then like a maniac he started to laugh.
"Nice try but I'm afraid it doesn't work that way, if you kill your self then you will actually only be killing your self, I am a Lycan wolf and so I cannot be killed… at least not by earthly means." He said and quickly grabbed the knife from me.
"I'll really enjoy the theatrics of watching you kill yourself but unfortunately I need you to stay alive. All that power you possess inside of you…I need it for myself." He said.
"You will not never get it! I'm never going to be your Luna! There's nothing you can do or say to make me change my mind." I said, does he think he little magic trick of making me linked to him will make me agree to be his Luna? If that was his thought then he is nothing but a joke.
"What if I told you that your sister Evelyn is still alive, at least for now, she might stay alive but that will depend on your decision. You can save your sister from death if you agree to be my Luna." He said.
The image replayed in my head. Evelyn is alive? But I saw her bloody on the ground.
"You are lying." I replied, he has to be lying, I watched her die, I watched all of them die.
"I knew that you would not believe me so here." Alpha Zyn said and handed me his phone.
I pressed play on the video and I stared horrible as the tears poured down. My sister, Evelyn, she is tied up and blindfolded and being tortured.
"Let her go." I cried and shielded my eyes away from the video, her cries broke my eyes.
"Please let her go… I…I'll do whatever you want me to." I stuttered.
"I told you this will work. Get dress, we do not want to be late for our wedding." Alpha Zyn said.
I had no choice but to accept my fate, I am going to be tied to this monster forever. I am going to be his Luna whether I like it or not.
LIAM'S POINT OF VIEW
I looked from him to her as the wedding continued, I handed the ring over to Zyn, I watched him wear it on her finger, I felt the jealousy creep up again.
I swallowed it down. I watched her lean upward to kiss him, the jealousy crept up, I swallowed it down. I should be the one wearing Zyn's ring.
I should be the one kissing Annalise, she is my mate after all, she is my mate so she should be with me not him and he should be with me not her.
My emotions are completely tangled up, they do not make any sense even to me. How can I desire both Zyn and Annalise at the same time?! That makes no sense.
Annalise…I looked at her again as they both laid down on the bed to validate their marriage. Times have changed but some old traditions still stand like the alpha and his Luna having sex on the night of their wedding while a few selected court members watch, it is a way of convincing the court members that a royal pup will be born really soon.
I wished that I do not have to be here but I do I am his beta after all.
I tried not to look at them, I did my best to ignore how rough Zyn was being with Annalise.
I tried to ignore the way he shoved her roughly to the bed and started to get on top of her even though she clearly doesn't want him to.
"Get off of me!" Annalise yelled, Zyn ignored her request and instead held her down like she was nothing but a thing.
Nobody else in the room seemed to mind so I looked away then I heard the sound of her clothes been ripped off.
"Do not try to resist me you slut!" Alpha Zyn yelled and I could not take it anymore, I did not know that I had left the place that I was seated and had gotten to their bed until I felt my fist land on alpha Zyn's face repeatedly.
"Do not ever call her a slut!" I yelled over and over again as I punched him, Annalise hid behind me, holding on to me.
I continued to punch Zyn on his face until his guards came and held me down.
I knew that I had made a huge mistake when Alpha Zyn's fist landed on my face repeatedly and I felt the blood on my face.
"Take him to the dungeon, I will deal with him later." Alpha Zyn said as he pulled Annalise from behind me and his guards led me out.
"No please don't take my mate away from me. You have taken everyone I love away from me Zyn don't take him too" I heard Annalise cry.
The room went silent, every single person froze in their step.
I saw murder in Zyn's eyes, for the first time I wondered if he will spare my life or just kill like he had done Jocelyn just so he can have Annalise all to himself...
