Immediately I saw her I knew. I have never felt it with anyone before but I felt it with her.
That feeling of being linked to someone, that connection that only werewolves can share, that connected that confirms that I am in fact a werewolf, that I am in fact capable of having a mate.
She is my mate, the girl that Alpha Zyn is about to make his Luna.
I looked at her wondering if she can feel it too, we locked eyes for a split second but then she looked away from me and went back to trying to struggle out of the guard's hold.
"Let me go!" She yelled as she tried to pull herself away from the guard's grasp.
I looked at alpha Zyn expecting him to do something, expecting him to tell the guard to stop rough handling his Luna but he did not, he just stood there with his usual emotionless look on his face.
"Leave me alone!" She cried while struggling to get away from the guard but he held her firmly, he is a lot stronger than her so it was really easy for him to keep her captive.
Her sadness makes me sad, I tried to keep the tears from falling from my eyes but it disobeyed me and came down in a rush.
I feel everything that she is feeling at this moment, the anger, the helplessness, the sadness…I feel really sorry for her, she probably doesn't deserve this, she is probably like me, helpless and chained under Alpha Zyn's command with no way of ever escaping.
"Please please let me go." The girl cried now looking really frail and helpless as the tears slipped from her eyes. Alpha Zyn stood next to me totally unmoved.
I couldn't take it anymore.
"Let her go." I said to alpha Zyn doing my best to sound strong. He ignored me.
"Please." I begged with tears in my eyes, now fully crying and sniffling. Alpha Zyn turned to look at me.
"I can't. I need her to be my Luna, it is what must happen." He simply said and then turned to look at the tall bulky man in a certain way.
I know what that look means, I know what Alpha Zyn has ordered the man to do to me through his gaze.
I know that the man is about to keep me restrained until I am no longer as emotional as I am now, until I am a lot more put together to act as Alpha Zyn's beta and right hand man.
"Let's go." The tall bulky man said, I did not resist because there is no point in resisting, it is still going to be the same result, Alpha Zyn is still going to get what he wants at the end of the day so I followed him without resistance.
I was led to my golden cage at the east wing of the palace where nobody else but me and the guards and the servant that alpha Zyn has assigned to me are allowed in.
I soon calmed down and then got dressed in my tuxedo and led out ready to be Alpha Zyn's best man as he marries his captive Luna.

He killed my entire family. Every single one of them, my mom, my dad and my older sister Evelyn.
They did not want to give me away and so he just killed them and took me away from the kingdom I had called home since I was born, now I am being forced to be his Luna.
I never thought that my powers would be a curse, I never thought that being a golden wolf will lead to the death of my entire family, that my whole kingdom would be destroyed because of it… because of me.
Ever since I was little I was told by everyone that I am special, that I have been favored by the moon goddess, that one day my powers will make my pack the greatest in the world, that one day being the last golden wolf known to humanity will be the greatest gift to my parents and my pack. I don't think I believe that now.
I just wish that I can be normal… no powers… just normal…if I was normal then my parents and Evelyn will still be alive, my village would have not been burnt down to nothingness, I would not be getting forced to be his Luna.
If I was normal my life would have remained as happy as it was before he showed up with his huge battalion of knights and guards.
I avoided the mirror as the girl working on my hair held it up in a high ponytail.
"Too tight?" She asked. I said nothing and instead continued to fantasize about how killing Alpha Zyn will be the first thing that I would do when I turn twenty next year and finally get this great power that everyone has been talking about since I was little.
I closed my eyes and imagined myself slitting his throat with a knife, I imagined myself slitting the throats of every single one of them who had helped him in capturing me… every single one of them who had joined him in killing my family and destroying my pack.
I was still fantasizing about this when his voice intruded my thoughts, I thought that I had just been imagining his voice but I opened my eyes to see him standing next to me.
I glared at him, at this moment I have just one wish; to destroy Alpha Zyn and every single thing he holds dear.
"Leave us." He said in his authoritative alpha voice, staring into my eyes as he spoke, the maid who had been doing my hair scurried away.
"You must think me cruel." He said immediately the door was shut, I balled my hands into a fist.
"You must think I am a heartless monster for taking your family away from you." He added, his words enraged me 'taking your family away from you' he makes it sound like he just took them away for vacation or something when what he actually did was murder them in cold blood!
"You killed my family! I hate you and one day I will avenge their deaths!" I snared, the hatred enveloped me I could hardly breath.
"In a year time I will get my powers and I promise you will be the first person I will kill!" I yelled, the memories of their deaths replayed in my head.
I gritted my teeth and held back the tears that was threatening to escape. I hate him and I will kill him, I will make him pay for destroying my family and my pack.
"I knew that you would want revenge so I found a way to stop you from ever getting it even when you get your power.
I have found a way to keep you as my little puppet for as long as I would want you around." Alpha Zyn said with a chilling grin as he walked around me in a circle.
He clicked a button on his phone and the door opened a woman walked in. I recognized her immediately, every werewolf knows and fears her, Christella fidoria the most powerful witch ever known to wolf kind, I began to panic.
"Wh…what do you want to do to me?" I asked terrified, Alpha Zyn just smiled and moved to far end of the room, he sat on the chair over there and just watched with an intrigued look on his face.
"Etlin esta merroy." The witch said with her hand stretched towards me as she moved closer and closer to me. I felt myself starting to get weaker and weaker, my head feels heavy and painful.
"Please tell her to stop… please stop, please." I said to Alpha Zyn and then Christella, none of them listened to me instead Christella continued with what she was doing.
She continued to cast the spell, I continued to feel all my strength drain out of my body until I felt myself fall to the ground and slip into unconsciousness…
