The only person who matches that description in the second riddle is none other than the Marquis.
And currently I was standing in front of his residence.
It was obvious he was back because his carriage was parked outside. But another carriage was there as well which was obviously from the palace.
There were no guards around and that made it all the more suspicious.
When I walked in, the butler came from the entrance with a bright smile. He was the only Lord who had a woman as his butler and not a man. She had served him for a very long time and is such a pleasant woman.
"Greetings, Lord Jerome." She cheerfully welcomed me.
"Greetings to you too, Lady Keith."
For a lady, her name was strange because that name was a male given name and not for both genders.
"I believe you are here for the marquis, correct?" She warmly asked as she led me inside.
