The following morning when I woke up, I groggily cleaned my blurry eyes as I checked to see if the man was gone just to find the spot empty and that seemed to clear every sleepiness away.
When I looked at Clairvoyance, she was still sleeping and it looked like the day had not fully set.
Getting up, I went outside the cave and there he was, getting his horse ready so he could be on his way.
When I parted my lips to speak, I didn't know what to call him, so I ended up saying, "Sir."
He stopped what he was doing and looked in my direction as I stepped out of the cave and cautiously walked towards him.
Something about his countenance shifted the moment he saw me and I felt it. There was something about looking at him that felt different.
"It is you," he breathlessly said as his eyes widened.
"What?" I asked as I came to a sudden standstill.
"You are Lady luck," he surprisingly said and I frowned.
"I am?" I asked.
