"Yes. I called to tell you that I have found a lady for you. In fact, she is standing before you."
Ellen's eyes widened to a point they could fall out of its sockets and it made me smile in triumph.
I love a good show and as I looked at Eric, he blinked in confusion before looking at Ellen and then back at me.
"Her?"
He asked and Ellen blinked severally before looking at Eric.
"What do you mean, her?" I asked while feigning ignorance and he looked at her again before looking at me.
"With due respect Lord Chadwick, but we are not a good match," he straightforwardly said and I felt a prick in my heart on Ellen's behalf.
Looking at her face, I saw hurt written over it and offense at the same time.
"Oh and here I was thinking that you two will make a good match," I lightly said to clear the tension but I knew it wouldn't do anything.
