"Fear not, dear. That will not happen," Ruth assured us but I couldn't help but worry.
"Do you think father knows?" Ruby asked in concern.
"If he did he wouldn't stop telling everyone about it," Deborah said, which was true.
"This means mother kept it a secret," Ruby said in dread.
"Her reasons for keeping it a secret are valid because if Lord Chadwick knows, Lovett knows and that will be dangerous. Nonetheless, I am glad she hinted to you about it." Ruth said to Ruby and she smiled but was obviously worried for her mother.
I, on the other hand, was worried for my life. I'd rather die in my body than die in Deborah's body.
But the problem was that I couldn't remember what I did or how I did it for us to switch bodies and it frustrated me to no end.
And in the dream I kept saying Lauren did something terrible. Could it be that he was the one to bring those cloaked people to attack us?
Was that why he was here? To end my brother?
