"Why do you both have the personality of the other? Did you happen to switch souls?"
I didn't know why I said that, maybe it was because of the way they behaved or because of how they spoke, which was ridiculously strange.
But again, anything is possible when it comes to a witch.
My eyes were on Peculiar who was calmly seated as she watched me with her weary eyes but she had a knowing smile and her eyes were squinted in mischief.
As I looked over at Deborah who was standing, I found her very much baffled by my question and there was something off with the way she looked at me, unlike Peculiar whose eyes were glad to see me even when she was exhausted.
Deborah's eyes had a way of lighting up the moment she sets them on me and Peculiar had that exact look, which took me by surprise.
When none of them answered me, I called out her name, "Deborah," just to test who would answer and they both did.
"Yes?" Came Deborah's response
