As I walked side by side with Ruby outside, I couldn't help but steal glances at her, especially when she was dressed beautifully. It made my chest puff in pride and all I wanted to do was be the man she always dreams of.
It thrilled me that she loved my gift and it was just the first step because I plan to do more.
I know she said we should pretend in public and I agreed to it but that doesn't mean I would give up trying.
In fact, I would try harder to make her fall for me even if it is in a week.
Since fancy gifts weren't her thing then I guess nature was something she should find pleasure in.
After she had paid me a visit, I thought hard on what I would gift her the next day and decided to read books on artists and it was then I realized they love nature because it reminded them of who they are.
As we descended the stairs, I found Sir Eric already waiting at the end of the grand staircase while studying both of us just the way her brother did.
