Although Rai had barely managed to get through his interactions with Julian, he found himself being constantly stared at by Teacher Lia afterward, as if he had done something terribly wrong.
He couldn't care less.
Instead of letting her glares bother him, Rai spent his break chatting with the kids. He even agreed to go visit Ron with them today after school. Apparently, they were planning to go over to hand Ron their class notes, so Rai asked to tag along, which the children were more than happy to accept.
"New teacher Julian said he came from the big city. Is it the same city as Teacher Rai's?" one of the students asked while they were all chattering together.
"...Well, there are many big cities. So I'm not really sure," Rai answered gently. Before the conversation could drift any further, the school day officially started, and everyone quickly got busy with their studies.
