Unsurprisingly, it was Rai who woke up first to the sound of the alarm.
Hearing the unfamiliar, shrill tone echoing right next to his ear, a sudden jolt of panic shot through him.
He flinched, his eyes darting around the shadowed bedroom before the memories of the previous night came rushing back. The tension finally left his shoulders as he realized exactly where he was.
Slowly, Rai turned his head to glare at the other side of the mattress.
And, there he was.
The bastard.
He was still completely dead to the world, his face buried right into the warm crook of Rai's neck.
'Like he always does', Rai thought, a breathless, exasperated huff escaping him.
He stared at the sharp line of Zade's jaw, a ridiculous question popping into his mind: 'Did he seriously drag me into his bed just so he could use me as a human pillow while he slept?'
