It was now Friday.
As usual, with no sign of Zade anywhere, the day began.
But on his way to work, Rai saw the university girl whom he had actually forgotten about, waiting at the side of the road, possibly waiting for him.
A sharp prick of guilt hit him.
'Maybe I should just finish that interview soon. The bastard probably wouldn't even want to know about it anymore anyway. He doesn't even talk to me...'
"Good morning," she greeted.
"Good morning."
"Mmm... can I perhaps get a date for my interview?"
"Meet me at exactly 2:00 PM at the house today."
"2:00 PM. Alright! Thank you very much."
She smiled happily.
"Mm."
Rai watched as the girl ran off happily and continued his walk and, for the first time in a week, reported to school three minutes late again.
"Good morning, Teacher Rai."
Rai nodded and greeted the staff back.
