And, that night was the beginning of them living like normal, busy roommates.
Zade thought he had made a bad joke and worried he was feeding into his own "gayness," so he didn't try to see Rai or go out of his way to interact.
On the other hand, Rai, having had a taste of reality, fell into a stressful daze. He was having a hard time accepting what it truly was.
There was no doubt.
Maybe Zade just wanted to tick him off at the time by saying Rai might be gay too, but Rai took it seriously.
And he had to.
'I am gay. There is no way to explain this.'
Rai had been frantically searching every single question he had, reading forums, and spending so much time on his phone, even through his sleepiness that night. He simply couldn't let it go without confirmation.
It was actually okay if he was gay but he just needed to be clear. He didn't want to be unsure about a trait of his own.
