"Kill him… don't let him escape this time…"
Hundreds of demons were chasing after an injured man, destroying everything on their way.
"Thud… thud…"
Their colossal size was big enough to cover the sun, as the wounded man moved like the wind around them, avoiding their attacks.
The blood was dripping from the man's hand as it slid through the sword in his arms. His speed was so fast that even though he was surrounded by hundreds of demons, and the broken spear pierced into his right leg, yet he remained untouchable.
He was like lightning, going wherever he wanted, leaving his marks behind, as he ran, a gigantic demon's body jumping from one to another while using his sword to cut through their skin.
Wherever he goes, the demons bleed, their blood dying the ground red.
"Haha… stupid demon, do you really think you could kill me?" His words echoed in the surrounding as his silhouette appeared behind the larger demon. The one who called for his death earlier.
His sword moved as the surrounding wind compressed, becoming a part of the sword blade, cutting the demon's neck like butter.
The mountain-sized head fell on the ground, forming a huge crater, filled with blood.
As the man stood on the demon's beheaded body, bathing in his blood.
At this moment, the sky cracked, and a masked man stepped out of the void, looking down at him.
"Greetings, My Lord…" All the remaining demons quickly fell on their knees in unison.
The man bathed in the blood smiled at the masked, raising his sword towards him as he lunged at the sky.
Suddenly, all the demons that had been marked by the man's sword burst into blood mist, as all the mist followed him through the sky, entering the man's body. As screamed out.
This was it, the masked man glanced at him, and his sword burst into fragments.
His body was frozen mid-air.
"Its 1698th time that I am going to kill you. How many lives do you have?"
The masked man asked indifferently as he looked at the man in front of him.
"Not too many, just a few million more?" The man replied, as his body shattered into fragments, disappearing from the world.
The masked man stared empty void in front of him before leaving.
Far away from here, on the blue star, an 18-year-old boy, who was sleeping while sitting on his study table, opened his eyes and started cursing.
"Fuck, this mf, who the hell is he? Why is it always the same, no matter how strong I am?"
"Haha… It's the 1695th time that you have died in his hands."
A sweet laugh of a girl filled the room.
"You shut up. Didn't he also kill you?" The boy retorted in anger, throwing his book at her face.
"Huh… you only gave 3 chances, how could I possibly do anything with that, while you have dying in his hands for the past 3 years."
The girl didn't dodge the book and continued playing a game on her console as she replied.
"Well, what did you get this time?" She asked, her focus was still on her game, her fingers moving rapidly.
"Let me check," he said, looking at the small bronze mirror placed on his table.
The ripples appeared on the mirror surface as a bright red sword appeared in the mirror.
"Blood Sword, not bad with this, now I will have a better weapon for the next round."
He said, happily, as he took out the sword from the mirror.
As the sword came into reality, the whole room was filled with a thick blood scent.
"You have been saying this for years," the girl commented, unbothered by the Blood scent filling the room.
The boy ignored her words and shoved the blood-red sword into his spatial bracelet, which he had also gotten from the mirror.
"Let's begin the next round? Hehe…"
The Boy said, looking at the bronze mirror with a creepy smile.
"You upgrade your swords first, or it would be a waste."
The girl's voice came, making the boy furious.
"Shut up, or you won't be getting any chance in future," he roared, starting his new life again.
She didn't say anything after that, letting him do whatever he wanted.
"Liu Zhi, Liu Ran, come downstairs, or both of you would sleep hungry."
A loud authoritative voice came from the down stairs.
Liu Zhi quickly put the mirror into his pocket while dragging his deaf sister down the stairs, who was still playing her game.
When they came downstairs, the first thing that happened was his little sister getting favourite snack from mom.
Smack!
"Ouch…"
"Mom… Just one minute more, I need to finish this boss fight."
Liu Ran said while rubbing her head.
Mom gave her a glare before taking her console away.
Meanwhile, Liu Zhi had already started his meal, so he could go back and begin his next dying session.
Liu Ran also came for dinner, but her eyes were still locked on the console.
"Liu Zhi, how are your studies going? The college exam is coming next month, and I want to see you at the top."
His Dad's strict voice came into his ears, but he continued his meal as he replied.
"First, no problem… but right now I don't have much time for self-study, can we stop these extra classes and also that martial art training. They take too much time."
Liu Zhi suggested happily.
"No way, you have exceptional talent for martial arts, I can't let you abandon it. As for extra classes, they also must be taken."
His dad said seriously.
"Well… at least give me a break on Sunday. For self-study and revision," Liu Zhi said again, trying to get a little bit of extra time for himself.
"I will talk about it with you, teachers," His dad said calmly.
"Fuck these teachers, they're not even qualified to be my students. Hmph!"
He mocked his dad's words as he quickly finished his meal and ran back into his room.
Seeing her brother run like this. Liu Ran quickly stuffed the food into her mouth and ran behind him, saying, "Dad… I will make sure he won't play games."
